Subaru SVX highway run
This is a basically stock '95 SVX. cold air intake, ECUtune 1v5 ECU, and
smallcar shiftkit are basically the only mods
1995 Subaru SVX - 5spd Manual Transmission
Quick 'n dirty video of my SVX after the 5 speed swap. The Subaru SVX was
never offered with a Manual Transmission and many SVX owners upgraded their
babies with Manual Transmissions from other Subaru models. Here's my swap,
video is nothing special but gives an idea of the driving experience for
potential buyers as I am selling her :'o(. My goal was to do a clean swap
that looked like it came from factory. Shifter is fully insulated and sound
deadening material was used to reduce noise, the car glides smooothly and
Turbo 5spd Subaru SVX at the track
Phil's turbo SVX 5spd running only 3.5
lbs of Boost, turning pretty decent
14.5 second tmes. Keep in mind most SVXs run mid to high 15s, or low 16s!
They were NOT built for the track, they were designed as highway bruisers,
NOT street racers. :) So knocking a full 1.5-2 seconds of the stock time
is pretty good. :)
Subaru SVX by All We'll Drive Sets Another SVX Record 12/2008, with Hydra EMS
The silver 1992 Subaru SVX LS-L, driven by Tom of All We'll Drive, makes
another SVX 1/4 mile record at 12.99 at 106mph! This is the first track day
since the install of the Hydra Nemesis Standalone EMS. He is also running
with a 6 speed STi transmission conversion and a Whipple blower on a stock
motor with high mileage... on street tires!

1992 Subaru SVX LSL AWD Funny Noise
Update: It was the diff. It has a 15" long crack in it, problem solved.
My buddys 92 SVX. It's got 180k on the original engine and maybe original
tranny. Engine runs like a dream, can't say so much for the
transmission/differential. Some people say it might be an axle, this video
is for them as I am not a Subaru guy.
