Volkswagen Passat 1.8T 20V 150 BHP cold start
This video shows the behaviour after start-up of a decent 1.8 turbo engine. This engine based on 20 valve technology is not only a good candidate for a heavily tuned unit, but also, it is very strong and flexible, when it's stock. Its only flaw is the fuel consumption, which is rather high for such cubic capacity. Despite that, it has only advantages. This cold start was recorded when the outside temperature was about -15 Celsius degrees, the car wasn't started-up for three days and it was kept outside. Don't worry for the fact, that the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) is on- there was a problem with the fuel composition, now it's fine.
