Mopar 408ci Small Block on Dyno
This is a video of the third start-up with my freshly built stroker motor for my '72 Dodge Demon 340. This build uses a late 360 block, Mopar cam, original J heads with some work done, Edelbrock intake, TTI headers, Eagle crank, original iron 340 rods, Venolia pistons, 1.5 ratio roller rockers, Fel-Pro & Mopar gaskets, and all ARP hardware.

Droped my new chryler 360/727 transmission for my 72 Dodge Monaco. I initially set #1 @ TDC which aligned the timing mark with 0, and matched the #1 tower of the distributor with the point. Engine started but ran very ruff and wanted to die at idle. I retarded the idle so much that the timing mark now sits about 12 o'clock on the balancer. Engine now maintains idle with some little coughting every 10 secs or so. When I shift in gear, the idle takes a crap and I have to throttle up for the engine not to die. As far as Vaccum goes, bottom back of carb is pluged to dist vacc advance, bigger bottom back of carb tube is pluged to PCV valve, and brtake Booster is pluged to back of manifold intake. All other vacc port on the carb are pluged with a cap.

1973 Plymouth Duster (Dugster) Tunnel Ram!
My 4 year project finally running. 360 Small Block w/ 2 Holly 450 4-brl carbs on a tunnel ram. The sound on the camera was overdriving to the point of distortion. It's not as noisy as this video makes it seem.
