Nissan March @ Central World
Presenting one accomplished eco car project from one of seven manufacturers in Thailand which invested in Eco-Car project with BOI (The Board of Investment of Thailand).
And that first one declared manufacturer is Nissan, which already presented little theory booth about Nissan's Eco-Car project in its booth in ME2009. To prove that Nissan is now ready to step in the long gone Eco Car market of Thailand.
The result is: the 4th-gen "March" (Codenamed X02A). Before this launch event in Central World, it already premiered at latest Geneva Motor Show (known as Micra). And it already has a plan to sell in Thailand before March ends as promised.
As for Thai Market, the name Nissan March is not the first time at all. Back in the 80's, first-gen March K10 was available in Thailand before. But in that period still not a time for small car for Thailand. Its good points to the consumers still unclear. So that March quitted from the lineup. More than 20 years passed until now, so this time means a return, and sale will commence in Thailand first. And Thailand is now also one of four manufacturing sites in the world for it.
Modern. Simple. Refinded. Advanced. Safer. With care for Earth. As this new March means a culmination of a quarter of century of experience & know-how (just Nissan's) of designing compact cars for metropolis driving. Meanwhile it once again settled Eco-Car industry standards - higher than ever before of course. So this can be a serious competitor (in its class) on stage of the world. Because it's also built to meet the differing taste and needs of consumers in Thailand and other 159 countries.
Nowadays in Thailand, only passenger cars in Eco-Car segment which is below subcompact segment can start the price at under 400,000THB after all.
That day is the second day which the March rolls out to the public at Central World.
