My girlfriend takes my 1965 (Factory Five MKIII replica) Shelby Cobra out for a drive.
Sorry about the sound in this video. I mounted the GoPro to the roll bar
but I think it was vibrating or something. She did pretty well driving the
Cobra... minus a couple grinds haha. The Cobra is a bit tempermental and
not really easy on you the first time you take her out. Proud of my girl...
both of them. I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor

Dual Motor Electric Vehicle Drivetrain With Powerglide 2 Speed Transmission Walkthrough by EV West
Here's a brief 10 minute video that gives a nice overview of the EV West 2
speed Powerglide transmission that runs without a torque converter direct
drive to 2 coupled Warp 11 motors. Depending on the voltage and current,
these twin motors can put out well over 1000 lb/ft of torque, and 600+ horsepower. We used
this motor and transmission combination to power our BMW M3 to the summit
of Pikes Peak in 2012 setting an all time record for street legal electric
cars. The strength and reliability of this system is key. For more
information regarding this bolt in drive train, please visit

2014 Le Mans Classic Parade Laps Superformance Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe in car
2014: the 50th anniversary of the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe beating the
Ferraris to win the GT class at the Le Mans 24hrs (with Bob Bondurant and
Dan Gurney driving). So it was very special to be there on track in its
modern counterpart designed by the same Peter Brock - a truly great event.
Here's a couple of parade laps at Le Mans Classic on Saturday morning 5th
July 2014 with Travel Destinations around 10.30 to 11am.
The circuit was very wet and congested, so whilst there was no possibility
of driving fast or on the ideal line, the occasion was fantastic -
particularly accompanied by that sound.
You can also enjoy seeing a huge variety of cars on track: Alpine, Aston
Martin, MG, Porsche, Datsun, Bentley, Triumph, Ferrari, TVR, Lotus, etc.
Cheesey driving gloves FTW!
1965 Shelby Le Mans Coupe, Cruisin Grand 2011
The Shelby Daytona Coupe (also referred to as the Shelby Daytona Cobra
Coupe) was a coupé based loosely on the AC Cobra roadster chassis and
drive-train. It was built for auto racing, specifically to take on Ferrari
in the GT class. Just six Daytona original coupes were built between 1964
and 1965. Shelby was reassigned to the Ford GT40 project after that to go
compete at the 24 hours of Le Mans, again to beat Ferrari. Pete Brock
designed the Daytona's aerodynamic bodywork, while Bob Negstad designed the
car's suspension. Negstad also designed the chassis and suspension for the
GT40 and the CSX 3000 series Shelby Cobra, often referred to as the
"coil-Spring Cobra" chassis. Due to its slippery shape, with the same Ford
289 drive-train and chassis as the 289 Cobra roadster it was much faster at top speed.
