512 Road Race 67 Mustang @ Shelby Club Mini-Nats 08/08
My 67 Fastback Mustang Again... This event was the first event with my new 3-link coil over rear suspension that I designed. It worked extremely well and I expect it'll get a tad better with a little more tuning. The front end now pushes real bad - I'm assuming this is due to the spool in the rear end.
The spool worked quite well with the leaf spring suspension - but with the rear tires in better contact with the ground the car wants to continue in a straight line rather than turn in. The spool will be replaced before the next event with a Half Tight DPI platinum LSD.
The miss shift between 6 and 7 was actually just an accidental shift into neutral, so the 9k peak was just a free rev. The motor should be capable of spinning near 10k with out trouble (not tested...) though it makes the most power well before that.
More information and photos of the car can be found here:

My 67 Fastback Mustang participating in the 2008 Shelby Club Vintage Exhibition Race held during the Mini-Nats celebration at Thunderhill Raceway. This is a great event that the Nor Cal Shelby Club puts on once a year, and I'm extremely happy to be a part of it. This video is in three parts due to the length of the "race".

512 Road Race Mustang @ Laguna Seca - Corkscrew Invitational 2010
My 1967 Mustang Fastback dedicated Road Race car @ Mazda Raceway, Laguna Seca for the Corkscrew Invitational Race - September 18/19 2010.
The car has gone through many changes since the last posted videos. The front suspension has been completely redesigned to allow wider front tires and improved suspension geometry. The engine is essentially the same, though now uses a belt drive for the camshaft rather than a timing chain.
This event was great fun. It had been ~12 years since this car was driven at Laguna Seca due to the strict sound restrictions at the track. This event was held on one of the allowed open sound weekends and was a great success. Thanks to Hooked On Driving, the Nor-Cal Shelby Club, and the other clubs that made this event happen.
This particular footage is from the session before the race on Sunday. Unfortunately the camera stopped after a lap or two of the race, so I don't have complete footage. We did finish in first place, with a very fast Panoz in a close second. It was a great race, I passed the Panoz cleanly in turn 9, and worked hard to stay in front for the last three or so laps.
This is the same video file as my last upload, this time using a much better encoder.
