The actual car looked really beautiful. This "Egoist" shares a common concept as "Spec M" for R34 GT-R. It comes with all the comfortable equipments you can think of in ultimate quality, but still laps Nurburgring at about 7min20sec. It's price is nearly double of the base GT-R. Each customer can choose a combination of interior colors among 20 choices. In addition, the Bose sound system is exclusively tuned according to the driving position of each driver to meet every customer's needs. This is the ultimate expression of the Nissan GT-R. - Interior Customers can choose a combination of interior colors among 20 choices, four upper area interior colors and 10 lower area interior colors. Interior parts are sent to Seton Company, Inc. Muelheim an der Ruhr in Germany and leather master craftsmen sew and stick carefully selected leather by hand. - Seats Seats are an exclusive quilted design with single and double stitching combined in a reticular pattern. Enhanced body grip performance (suitable for racing circuit driving), smoothness and fit are all provided. - Wajima Lacquer (Maki-e) Emblem Wajima Maki-e with deep coloring and glaze created by Mr. Sakae Kubota, an accredited traditional craftsman for Japanese lacquer, is used for the GT-R emblem at the center of the steering wheel. The beautiful coloring of Maki-e changes as time goes by. - Bose Precision Sound System Specially developed carbon composite-based woofers, which can cancel vibrations through their high rigidity and damping, are installed. In addition, sound quality is adjusted by Bose exclusively for each owner, depending on individual driving position. - Carbon Rear Spoiler EGOIST adopts a dry carbon rear spoiler (also used in the SpecV). Providing stable aerodynamic performance, even when driving at more than 300km/h, the rear spoiler gives an intense look in the rear with its black carbon color. - RAYS Forged Aluminum-Alloy Wheels Lightweight and highly rigid forged aluminum-alloy wheels, also used in the SpecV, reduce unsprung weight and help provide a supple ride feel. [What is SPEC V?] The concept of base GT-R is "the fastest vehicle for anyone, at anytime, under any condition". As proven, base GT-R is already fast on race tracks, but there are compromising in some aspects because it was designed for driving fast on winding roads and highways also. SpecV is a model that is completely focused on race tracks. Below are some the differences of Spec V from base GT-R. - No rear seats - 60kg lighter body (carbon fiber bucket seats, interior, rear wing) - High Gear Boost Controller - Titan Exhaust System - New Suspension Setting - Carbon Ceramic Brakes [More Description from Wikipedia] Nissan introduced the GT-R SpecV on January 7, 2009 at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon. Exterior changes from the base GT-R consist of a carbon fiber rear spoiler, grille, and brake ducts, along with an exclusive Ultimate Black Opal paint job. Interior changes include a set of carbon fiber Recaro front seats with the rear seats being completely removed. Carbon fiber covers the center storage box, instrument panel, and replaces the majority of the interior trim. The GT-R SpecV is powered by the standard twin-turbo 3,799 cc (3.8 L; 231.8 cu in) V6 with no increase in horsepower. A new high gear Boost controller that allows a temporary increase in Boost pressure to the IHI twin turbochargers, now larger than those on the standard GT-R, should deliver more torque in mid to high-range revs. Other mechanical changes include a titanium Exhaust, reworked suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, and 20-inch (510 mm) NISMO wheels. Overall weight is decreased by 132 lb (60 kg) over the standard GT-R. Japan sales began on February 2, 2009 at seven pre-selected dealers who are staffed by mechanics with special GT-R SpecV training and are knowledgeable of racing circuit driving. Pricing is set at ¥15,750,000 (over US$160,000). Nissan has yet to announce any plans to sell the Spec V in the USA. I've received the video from Totalcarconcept.com of the Dynorun! The Switzer P800 kit turns the GT-R in to a 800 HP monster. With a few PSi more Boost the 840 HP is no problem. They have 98 and 100 octaan fuels. The AMS sportcats are much bigger and give good power, also with sportcat!
