The actual car looked really beautiful. This "Egoist" shares a common concept as "Spec M" for R34 GT-R. It comes with all the comfortable equipments you can think of in ultimate quality, but still laps Nurburgring at about 7min20sec. It's price is nearly double of the base GT-R. Interior parts are sent to Seton Company, Inc. Muelheim an der Ruhr in Germany and leather master craftsmen sew and stick carefully selected leather by hand. - Seats Seats are an exclusive quilted design with single and double stitching combined in a reticular pattern. Enhanced body grip performance (suitable for racing circuit driving), smoothness and fit are all provided. - Wajima Lacquer (Maki-e) Emblem Wajima Maki-e with deep coloring and glaze created by Mr. Sakae Kubota, an accredited traditional craftsman for Japanese lacquer, is used for the GT-R emblem at the center of the steering wheel. The beautiful coloring of Maki-e changes as time goes by. - Bose Precision Sound System Specially developed carbon composite-based woofers, which can cancel vibrations through their high rigidity and damping, are installed. In addition, sound quality is adjusted by Bose exclusively for each owner, depending on individual driving position. - Carbon Rear Spoiler EGOIST adopts a dry carbon rear spoiler (also used in the SpecV). [What is SPEC V?] The concept of base GT-R is "the fastest vehicle for anyone, at anytime, under any condition". As proven, base GT-R is already fast on race tracks, but there are compromising in some aspects because it was designed for driving fast on winding roads and highways also. SpecV is a model that is completely focused on race tracks. Interior changes include a set of carbon fiber Recaro front seats with the rear seats being completely removed. Carbon fiber covers the center storage box, instrument panel, and replaces the majority of the interior trim. The GT-R SpecV is powered by the standard twin-turbo 3,799 cc (3.8 L; 231.8 cu in) V6 with no increase in horsepower. A new high gear Boost controller that allows a temporary increase in Boost pressure to the IHI twin turbochargers, now larger than those on the standard GT-R, should deliver more torque in mid to high-range revs. Other mechanical changes include a titanium Exhaust, reworked suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, and 20-inch (510 mm) NISMO wheels. He's won 3 championships in Super GT - 3 years in a row, in 3 different teams, driving 3 different cars (M-TEC NSX, MR-S, RE Amemiya RX-7). And not only in Super GT, he's also become 14 times champion in national autocross series driving various cars (CR-X, Civic, S2000, NSX, Lotus Exige). Currently acting as a Subaru driver, Yamano races in BRZ GT300 race car in 2012 Super GT, and also drives a BRZ in All Japan Gymkhana series. The stunning pink colored BRZ in this video is the actual car he drives in the autocross. Despite the fact it's merely the first year of competition for BRZ, it's already won some rounds. The machine doesn't have much mods though because of the regulation of the series - suspension, differentials, tires & wheels, and very few safety equipments.
