Dodge Challenger Slow motion Wheelie
1974 Dodge Challenger Slomo Wheelie vid. Santa Pod 2010 eurofinals. By Blackett Photography. Here the car is powered by a 572ci Wedge motor. Runs mid 9's @ full weight (3850lb +). To make the caltracks work you need plenty of front end lift, bump stops were removed and frames notched to get almost 6 1/2 inches of travel. Something Chrysler never designed that suspension for I'd guess. We've since improved the bump steer by replacing parts and resetting the camber / castor as the front has aftermarket parts and plenty of adjustment. In reality it's difficut to fully eliminate without going to a strut type front end, though some people appear to have done it on stock stuff, it seems to be a common chrysler trait. Check out the superstock video's from the '70s and most Mopars do it also check out my other real time wheelie vids you see that the wobble lasts only a fraction of a second. Thanks for the comments.

1/4 mile street drag race: 1968 Camaro 350 RS/SS versus 1970 Dodge Challenger 440 Six-Pack
In 1998 I raced my 68 Camaro in the 1/4 mile against one of my customers in Houston with a 1970 Dodge Challenger. It was a Saturday morning on a two lane black top road and the road was blocked on both ends with fake accidents. Mike put new drag-slick radials on his Challenger just before the race as he was not going to lose under any circumstance. He nodded three times and away we went. If you watch close at the beginning you can my Camaro's rear end jumping around and a big cloud of tire smoke as I just couldn't get any traction; but the Challenger went straight off the line with no tire spin with those new drag-slick radials. At the end of the race I asked for a second chance and Mike just smiled and said "are you kidding, no way it's over. We had a great time and it's something I will probably never have the opportunity to do again.
