World's Fastest: 270.49 mph Hennessey Venom GT
On February 14, 2014, the Hennessey Venom GT set a new world speed record
for 2-seat sports cars by reaching a top speed of 270.49 mph (435.31 km/h).
The test was performed at the John F. Kennedy Space Center on the 3.2-mile
Space Shuttle landing runway. Brian Smith, Director of Miller Motorsports
Park, drove the Venom GT to its record speed. A representative from
Racelogic, world-renowned maker of VBox GPS data-acquisition systems, was
on hand to independently verify and document the Venom GT's highest
recorded speed. The Venom GT was powered with Pennzoil Platinum® with
PurePlus™ Technology, a first of its kind synthetic motor oil made from
natural gas. For more information please visit:

2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Drive & Review: The Fastest Daily Driver Ever
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2012 Camaro ZL1 is the fastest and
most powerful production Camaro ever built by Chevrolet.
But you probably already knew that. What you might not know is that this
almost 600 horsepower car is really a
pussy cat to drive. In fact if it got better gas mileage you could easily
use it as a daily commuter. It is that easy and relaxed to drive even
though under the hood is the supercharged beating heart out of the Cadillac
CTS-V. In this review we get to know the fastest production Camaro that GM has ever built by
spending a week with it and using it as a daily driver.
Edelbrock Supercharger Dyno Test on 2010 Camaro SS
The new Edelbrock E-Force Superchargers
are now available for the 2010+ Camaro SS, and Hennessey
Performance has a sneak preview of the system in action. We put it on the
Dyno for testing and a
bonus fly by video to experience the signature whine of the TVS2300-based
Supercharger. Results: 510 rear wheel
horsepower and 481
lb-ft torque. This was achieved on a low-mile LS3 at 7 psi Boost on 93 octane with our custom Dyno tune.
2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 vs 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition! - Head 2 Head Ep. 52
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jonny Lieberman travels to Barber
Motorsports Park for a head to head matchup with the brand new Chevy Camaro Z/28 and a well
known heavyweight, the Nissan GT-R. But not just any GT-R, the 2014 Track
Edition which packs a 545 hp twin-turbo
V-6, a 6-speed dual clutch transmission, sticky Dunlop tires and AWD
traction into a car without rear seats. The Z/28, by way of contrast,
features a massive 7.0-liter naturally-aspirated V-8, a 6-speed manual
transmission, and tail-out RWD. While it does still have rear seats, nearly
every other non-essential component has been removed. Moreover, the Z28's
tires might be even stickier! The front ones, enormous 305-sections, are
certainly the widest tires ever bolted to a production car. Both cars are
phenomenal, and both cars make rational men scream, "Gimme!" But only one
can come out on top. Watch and find out!
Head 2 Head appears every fourth Wednesday on the Motor Trend channel.

1987 Buick Grand National VS 2010 V6 Chevy Camaro 1/4 Mile run 2010
Been working on my GN with my friends for the past two years and decided to
give her a run for the first time at a local cruise night. Not being at the
track in years I didn't know where to stage and didn't have time to build
Boost...but 12.1 in 1/4 is a good
start. It's a 1987 Buick Grand National with 26k original miles with stock
motor and a few bolt on. The paint and interior are all stock.
