1957 Ford Ranchero - Rock and Roll - $29,750 OBO
What a prize. 1957 was the first year of Ford Ranchero and was a unique
vehicle that was the first of its kind being the first car with a truck
bed—the original car truck and was patterned off of the full size
Fairlane 2 door station wagon platform that integrated the cab and cargo
bed into the body. This 1957 Ford Ranchero had a body off frame
restoration completed about 10 years ago. Powered by a strong 351
Cleveland big block engine it has over 300 hp. It has a 3 speed FMX A/T,
Edelbrock performance manifold with a 4 barrel Holly carburetor, and dual
Exhaust. The black leather bucket
seats are in great shape, the Ford GT wheels and caps were purchased in
1968, it has BF Goodrich raised white letter tires, a custom fiberglass bed
cover and the wood strips in the bed have a gleaming varnish coating.
There are some small trim pieces at the corners of the windshield that need
to be installed, but they are inside the vehicle and just need to be put
on. The original windshield wiper motor was vacuum-powered and while it
could be changed back, and updated windshield wiper motor has been
Recent work in the last 1,000 miles includes: new heads and valves, the
carburetor being professionally rebuilt, the speedometer was rebuilt and
reset to 0, the Town and Country radio was rebuilt and the clock was
rebuilt. A 9 inch rear end was installed (28 spline, 2.73 gears) and the
new varnished wood was installed in the bed.
This is a real looker, you owe it to yourself to come and see it!
Some trade considered for a 1956 Mercury Phaeton 4 Door Hardtop.

Cruising in the 1955 Fairlane
Tommy Gun and I had to take the Fairlane out for a spin before we started
the restoration. It only blows a wee little bit of smoke so we figured it'd
be ok. If you can't tell by all the laughing, we were pretty much having a
ball. There's nothing like driving a classic car. For those of you who
haven't done it, you really have to try it. Seriously. Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for watching!
PS - If you have any tips about the overdrive situation please let me know.

Like New - Very well redone 1956 Ford Fairlane - SOLD!
Take a very very close look at this stunning 56 ford Fairlane 2 door sedan!
Have you ever seen a 56 so cherry? The current owner of 9 years updated the
car in 2002 with power out of a 1989 Lincoln 302 4 speed over-drive
automatic transmission! The 302 has a new Holley 600 carburetor. At the
same time the motor was done, the front end was also done which was 16,000
miles ago. We have been told that the Lincoln donor motor had about 60K
miles on it--so overall motor miles are approximately 76K. It also has a
dual servo master cylinder.
The car also has professional conversion kit P/S, Lincoln 4-way power disk
brakes, R/H, an after market kit A/C, Lincoln 4-way power disk brakes, 6
disk player in the trunk, very sanitary VDO gauges in the dash, and spot
lights--of course. The outside of the car keeps with the stock approach
with a little upgrade with chrome and of course lake pipes, newer Super
Steel 535 205/55R16 tires, mags, and dual Exhaust that provides a great rumble.
The interior speaks for itself and is very very clean job as is the rest of
the car (it has just been done right). A full picture by picture was done
as the work went along. This is a superb frame up. You are worthy of this
car and all you have to do is just turn the key and drive away! As
previously stated, this is a health forces the sale I really wish I could
have had this master put my crown together. JUST REDUCED FROM 30K TO
CURRENT PRICE AS ILLNESS FORCES SALE!

1954 FORD CUSTOMLINE POLICE CAR -- WELL, NOT PATROLLING LATELY
Here we have a used up and run down police car that still runs but needs
some tender loving care. The 2-door Customline Ford was at the middle tier
and 293,375 of these were made this year. Suggested price for this 2-dr.
Customline was $1,744. Ford was battling Chevy with discounted prices this
year and both Chevy and Ford sold hundreds of thousands of cars. Of
course, that hurt the independent car makers so bad that they never really
recovered. The models around the Customline was the Mainline below and the
Crestline above. This police car has the V8, 239 cid with 130 hp., and the
other engine was an L-head 6 with 223 cid and 115 hp. These Y block V8's
replaced the long lived flatheads that powered not only Ford but Mercury
also. Ford also was the first low priced car with ball-joint front
suspension replacing the old kingpins. Ford model year production was
1,165,942 units beating Chevy by 22,381, mostly because Ford had that new Y
block V8 engine. As you can see this police car has seen better days but
I'm sure it will get back to it's former splendor as a crime-fighting
vehicle. Thanks very much for viewing this delapidated old Ford police
