Audi celebrates ten millionth midsize car (German lang.)
The models in Audi's midsize class -- the Audi A4 and its predecessor, the Audi 80 -- constitute the heart of the brand. The company recently celebrated a true milestone in production. In early October, the ten millionth midsize Audi rolled off the assembly line: a Misano Red Audi S4 with a black and alabaster-white interior and a V6 engine generating 245 kW (333 hp) of output.
2012 BMW 3-Series (F30) reveal promo

The new 3er is 93 mm (3.66 inches) longer than the previous model, offering up 15 mm (0.59 inches) more legroom and 8 mm (.0315 inches) more headroom for the passengers at the back. BMW will initially offer the 3-Series in four variants - the 328i and 335i on the petrol side, and the 320d and 320d EfficienctDynamics on the diesel end. The range-topping 335i comes with a twin-turbo 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder unit producing 306 PS (225 kW / 302 hp). The new 3er still offers the 320d EfficientDynamics with 163 PS (120 kW / 161 hp) with a fuel-economy rating of just 4.1 liters/100 km and a CO2 quotient of 109 g/km. As for pricing in Europe, the 320d will sell for €35,350 and the 335i will start at €43,600. The new BMW 3-Series will go on sale February 11, 2012 in markets around the world. Other variants will be added in the spring of 2012 while a full-hybrid variant of the 3-Series will be launched next autumn.
Peugeot 208 teaser
Peugeot has released a teaser video for the 208 and it will be unveiled on November 2nd. Described as "radically new," the 207 replacement promises to be "sophisticated" and "truly in line with the times." It will be relatively compact, but Peugeot says it will have ergonomics of the highest level. The new 208 is expected to inherit the same design language from the recent 508, so we can expected a smaller grille compared to the gaping mouth of the current 207 model.
2012 Audi A4 Avant facelift revealed
Audi has officially unveiled the 2012 A4 / S4 facelift. Looking more aggressive, the model adopts a new front fascia with a revised grille, restyled headlights and a modified hood. There's also a new diffuser, revised taillights and a dual Exhaust system. For a sportier appearance, the S-line package has reduced ride height and 18-inch alloy wheels (19-inchers are optional). Inside, the cabin gains a new steering wheel, revised trim and additional chrome accents. Other changes include an updated infotainment system and buttons for the heated / cooled seats. Under the hood, a variety of engines are available. The 2.0 TDI has outputs of 136 PS (100 kW / 134 hp) and 163 PS (120 kW / 161 hp). Another four-cylinder diesel produces 120 PS (88 kW / 118 hp), 143 PS (105 kW / 141 hp) and 177 PS (130 kW / 174 hp). Last but not least, the 3.0 TDI develops 204 PS (150 kW / 201 hp) and 245 PS (180 kW / 241 hp). On the petrol side, a new 1.8-liter TFSI produces 170 PS (125 kW / 168 hp) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque. Other choices include a 1.8 TFSI with 120 PS (88 kW / 118 hp), a 2.0 TFSI with 211 PS (155 kW / 208 hp) and a 3.0 TFSI V6 with 272 PS (200 kW / 268 hp). Notably, the S4 has a supercharged 3.0-liter TFSI V6 with 333 PS (245 kW / 329 hp) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the sedan to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.0 seconds, before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). In terms of efficiency, owners can expect to average 8.0 L/100 km (29.4 mpg US / 35.3 mpg UK). On the handling front, the car has a revised suspension and a new power steering system which "requires no energy for straight-ahead motion, thereby reducing fuel consumption by up to 0.3 L/100 km." The 2012 Audi A4 will go on sale shortly and pricing has "changed only slightly."
