1968 Datsun Bluebird
This is a collection of brief clips and pictures of my old 1968 Datsun
Bluebird (or Datsun 1300 as they were known elsewhere). This is a model 410
1.3L, 4 speed manual, bench seats front and back. Only had some minor
surface rust in a couple of places which I was getting fixed.
Sadly I no longer own this car as I didn't have room to store it.
360HP STAR ROAD DATSUN FAIRLADY S30Z WALKAROUND
Come and take a closer look at Star Road's insane L28 powered S30Z Fairlady
that is literally the perfect mix of both the old and new schools. I walk
you around the car, showing you the immense amounts of detail that have
gone into it. It is currently developing a screaming naturally aspirated
360hp, revs to 8000rpm and includes one of the most impressive engine bays
you will ever see including a special custom carburettor/injection setup
that is monitored by MoTec engine management and a full Defi system.
You would struggle to find a better modern take on a classic like the
Fairlady anywhere else on the planet.

Datsun 411 Bluebird EV - First Roll with Battery Power
This is the first run of my conversion of a 1967 Datsun Bluebird as an
electric vehicle. It uses the motor and controller from a 48V golf cart
mated with an automatic transmission from a 1994 Geo Metro and custom
suspension. There are currently no brakes of any kind on the car, so my
testing is limited to the driveway. It seems like it will have pretty good
zip; calculated top speed is 35 mph with a range of 7-14 miles.

Collection of pictures showing how a stock Datsun 510 got his swap from a
03 s2000 donor ;it takes almost the same time chopping the frame for either
other swap, so I felt more confortable swapping a s2k engine & tranny on
I didn't know where to start, but somehow everything started to taking
place in a house garage with some basic tool that my grampa left me.
Overall this could be called as frankestein swap because of the info and
parts used. Ei: Subaru R160 LSD, Nissan Maxima rear calipers with KYB AGX

the brake system and plumbing. It took me around 7-8 months to finish it ,
working mostly at night and weekdays.
The main issue was to keep the most of the original geometry of the
Datsun...and basically remained the same, only for the tranny tunnel wich
it was extended. custom header and Exhaust, muffler provided by Greddy RSX type S

Datsun 411 Bluebird EV Speed Test
Having installed brakes, I was ready to take the little electric car into
the alleyway for a speed test. Although it has a theoretical top speed of
35 mph, the factory speed setting in the Club Car golf cart's Curtis
controller is keeping me at 20 mph. The good news is that everything works
well: ADC 6.7" sepex motor gives acceptable acceleration, the Geo Metro
automatic transmission shifts through all three gears properly and the
brakes stop it all with assurance. Success all around.

Nissan Project 370Z vs 1970 Datsun 240Z with RB26 Track Battle! - The Downshift Episode 54
Many months ago, Nissan asked their fans to help them create the ultimate
370Z track car. They called it Project 370Z. To put it to the test, Nissan
fans were asked to vote for a challenger to compete against it. They chose
a 1970 Datsun 240Z with an RB26 engine transplant built by Gordon MacSwain.
On this episode of The Downshift, we head to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for
an epic David vs Goliath battle between these two amazing machines.
The Downshift appears every other Tuesday on the Motor Trend channel.
