The Peugeot 106 was produced in two series. During the first (S1) from September 1991 to April 1996 and the second (S2) from May 1996 to July 2003 Here, the 106 S1 based on the Citroën AX introduced a few years earlier, during the 106 S2 is technically almost identical to the Citroën Saxo.
