( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The new 2013 Ram Express Quad Cab 1500 pickup is a big beast to drive off-road. In fact the HEMI 5.7L engine does little to help the big Ram tackle the mud and snow. But of course the Ram's 4X4 drive train and substantial ground clearance makes for a fine off-road ride. In another exclusive TFLcar video review we take the newest Ram into the Colorado Rocky Mountains to see how it does when the road get's snowy, muddy and steep? Does the new Ram have what it takes to take on the Rockies? Watch this fun and informative off-road review to find out.
2013 Lexus ES 350 First Drive & Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) For 2013 the Lexus ES 350 is new, bigger and
better. Perhaps the most striking difference in the new car is the
company's also new spindle grille which will now be the new face of Lexus.
Length increases by an inch, as the wheelbase grows nearly two inches
creating more room inside the car and giving the car more road presence.
The back seat is where you can really tell difference with the second row
passengers getting a huge 2.8 inches of additional knee room compared to
this year's car. So what it is like to drive the Lexus ES 350. Check out
this first drive review as we find out.
2013 GMC Sierra Denali Snowy & Muddy Off-Road Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 GMC Sierra Denali is the top of the line
GMC pickup truck. It comes with almost every creature comfort found on high
end luxury sedans including heated seats and a heated steering wheel and
all-wheel-drive. So naturally we were curios how the Denali would do with
AWD off-road. In another fun and informative TFLcar video we take the 2013
GMC Sierra Denali on our standard off-road trail to determine if an AWD
pickup is as capable as a 4X4 pickup in the snow, mud and rocky terrain of
the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
2013 Range Rover Sport Off-Road Drive and Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Range Rover Sport HSE is a favorite ride
of many of the house wives of reality show fame. But we wanted to know if
this posh ride is capable of taking on the hills and mountains of Colorado
and not just the hills of Beverly. So of course in another fun and
informative TFLcar video review we took the 2013 Range Rover Sport off-road
and got it good and dirty. How did this stylish British ride do when the
road turned dusty, rocky and rough? Check out this off-road review to see a
vehicle usually spotted in shopping center malls getting a bit of bashing
in the Colorado Rockies.
2013 Mercedes-Benz GL: Everything you Ever Wanted to Know

2013 Ford Escape Ecoboost Drive & Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The new 2013 Ford Escape is a European inspired
crossover. The new Escape is now a premium vehicle with almost every new
technology that you can purchase in a vehicle including self-parking, blind
spot monitoring and a rear hatch that opens with the kick of a foot
underneath the rear bumper. In this TFLcar first drive review we put the
new 2013 Escape to the test to see just how much Ford has improved the
vehicle from the previous generation. Of course in Europe the Escape is
called the Ford Kuga so we wanted to find out just how much European DNA
can be found in the American version of the car.

2014 Toyota Tundra takes on Ram 1500 & the Ike Gauntlet Towing Test ( Episode 4 )
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) The 2014 Toyota Tundra Pickup is built to tow.
But is it better than the Ram 1500 We decided to find out by putting both
pickups up against each other in a Mega Mashup Sequel. Once again both
trucks tow the old Lincoln Continental Mark V Diamond in the Rough up one
of the steepest and highest American Highways. From Dillion, Colorado to
the Eisenhower Tunnel U.S. I-70 climbs 8 miles to a maximum elevation of
11,158 feet or 3,401 meters. That's enough elevation and grade to test the
most powerful of pickups. Is the Toyota Tundra up to the task of towing a
over 7,000 pounds up to the top of the tunnel?
In fact according to Toyota this pickup can tow up to 9,600 pounds. That's
enough weight to need a commercial truckers license in most states. In this
first TFLtruck Ike Gauntlet video review we test the truck up the Ike
Gauntlet see how fast it will tow around 7,200 pounds of old American
Luxury car plus people and gear 8 miles up a 7 percent grade to the
Eisenhower tunnel with the help of our friend Kent from (

2014 / 2015 RAM 1500 Eco Diesel Review and Road Test
Check out my other videos! http://vid.io/xqoB
Who is Alex? Find out here! http://vid.io/xqoF
There's just something about a diesel pickup truck that makes grown men
regress into Tonka-loving children. Even my Prius-driving environmentalist
friends in Berkeley admit they secretly want a diesel pickup. The problem
of course is that diesel pickups are expensive (the cheapest diesel Ram
2500 is $36,975 and it doesn't have an automatic transmission, the cheapest
oil-burning F-250 is $38,250) and, for the majority of us, the high payload
and towing capacities are overkill. While economical in a specific sense,
the large diesel trucks aren't "fuel-efficient" either. Until now. Mark
your calendars folks, The 2014 Ram 1500 Eco Diesel is the half-ton truck in
America sporting a small diesel engine.
Although new in 2010 and refreshed for the 2013, the 1500 is undeniably a
Ram. That's because Chrysler prefers evolutionary rather than revolutionary
styling when it comes to their volume truck. That's not a bad thing, since
the 1994 style cues that have lived on were sexy back then, and still
attractive today. The big-rig front end still captures my attention, but
despite my family's Ram addiction, I find the 2014 Silverado's nose to be
the better looker. As with most redesigns, the front end got bigger,
brasher and has more chrome than ever before.
In 2007 GM purchased 50% of the Italian engine maker VM Motori. The logic
was that GM needed a smooth Euro compliant diesel engine for the Cadillac
CTS (and other models) in order to compete with the Germans. Sadly, GM
declared bankruptcy between the engine being designed and the engine
actually being used so it sat on a shelf. In 2011 Fiat bought the other
half of VM Motori and found the engine gathering dust. Fiat had some quick
tweaks done to the engine to make it more suitable for their use and the
EcoDiesel V6 was born. While there was much talk about GM getting their
hands on this same engine for Silverado duty, Fiat recently snapped up the
other half of VM Motri making this a Fiat/Chrysler engine in every way that
The high revving single turbo
aluminum-block V6 engine produces 240 horsepower and a stout 420
lb-ft of torque. If those numbers sound impressive, consider this. The
first 5.9L Cummins engine Chrysler used in the 2500 and 3500 series RAM
trucks produced 94 fewer ponies and 20 fewer twists. In the biggest
statement of progress I have seen in a while, that Cummins also delivered
its power via five fewer gears.
Like the rest of the Ram 1500 lineup (except for one model with a 5.7L
HEMI), all 1/2 ton Rams now use ZF's 8-speed automatic transmission. If
you're worried it's just a passenger car transmission that's not up to the
task, ZF's 8-speed transmissions are also found behind the insane twin-turbo V12s that the Germans love so much.
Ram 1500 Laramie [S6 Ep.11-1]
Everybody knows that you can get almost anything you want on a new car or
truck these days. The problem is, if you use your truck for work, "almost"
just doesn't get it. Today on GEARZ, Stacey takes a decked out new truck,
and adds some key tools and equipment to make it something that you can
literally take to work or play with. After that, we dig into the mysterious
world of leather interiors, and show how it is possible for you to buy a
top quality leather upholstery kit, and install it yourself. Finally, we
roll in the SL-C and show what it takes to put twin turbos on an LS7. It's gonna be crazy, and it's
only gonna be on GEARZ!
