STAR CARS- Mad Max Machines @ Wasteland Weekend (Ep. 13)
In the post-apocalyptic wasteland, it's survival of the fastest! And
nothing's faster than Max's
Interceptor V8 Pursuit Special, just one of the insane cars Athena Stamos
profiled at Wasteland Weekend (an annual Burning Man-style desert weekend
for Mad Max fans).
She also discovered a kick-ass limousine gunboat, a naval Camaro festooned with a harpoon
and mermaid, a hot-rod Mercury, and a real Thunderdome. Athena even dove in
as a judge in the hugely competitive car contest. Which road warrior took
home the top prize?

1927 Ford: Double-Trouble -- /BIG MUSCLE
• Gordon Tronson
In the world of hot-rodding there are few cars that are going to leave as
big an impression as this - the 1927 Ford Model T custom simply known as
"Double-Trouble". It rides on a custom-built tube chassis that's fabricated
from 1.5-inch tube. Is powered by two 4.6-liter modular V8s from Ford with
four, count 'em, FOUR Superchargers for
an approximate power output of around 1,200 hp. It also utilizes the
rear-end (inboard disc brakes and all) from an early Jaguar. It's a rolling
a Hot Wheels car and a masterpiece of engineering that is sure to make all
your naughty bits tingle.
Wakefield Park Ford AU TE-50 T3
First ever run at wakefield park ( car & driver) with a basically factory
stock Ford falcon 2002 TE-50 series III. Only mods were an Exhaust. Pretty good result for a standard road
car on this track. A little untidy in some places due to the grip from the
factory tyres but she was pushed as hard as possible considering.

2014 Ford Raptor 6.2L vs F-250 6.2L Mashup Ike Gauntlet Towing Test ( Part 1)
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) The 2014 Ford SVT Raptor does not directly
compete against the Ford F-250. But in this case both trucks have one
significant thing in common...they both come equipped with the same Ford
6.2L engine. In fact the Raptor's 6.2L V8 is tuned with a few more ponies
from the factory. So how do these two different trucks with the same engine
compare when it comes to towing. We decide to find out by taking both
trucks up the TFLtruck Ike Gauntlet Mega towing torture test in classic
The Ike Gauntlet is a timed run up one of America's steepest highways from
9,000 feet above sea level to the top of the mountain at entrance to the
Eisenhower Tunnel in Colorado. Check out this promo for what's coming up
