Saab 9000 Aero Cheapest performance sleeper with low budget
I own other track cars like Nissan R34 Skyline, 911 & Mini JCW (see my other vids) and in my opinion this Saab 9000 Aero has the biggest performance bang for bucks. Standard car has 225hp but with massive torque from its TD04 turbo all I have to do is stripped off 120kg of weight. I don't need those comfort features other than the factory driver Recaro seat. Most difficult bit is finding the right car in manual transmission,1 owner history and with no traction control. With RE002 performance tyres, stage 1 ECU, Koni adjustable suspension, high flow cat and yellowstuff brake pads, soon I will find out how it will perform on Wakefield Park race track, stay tuned. For now, you can see how this car handles on the road, so much torque it breaks traction on top end. It looks big but weights less than a modern VW Golf Gti. I love how the old-skool cars drive without any computer assistance. You can go nuts with the mods but the point is building an affordable fun reliable car for closed circuit use. Taking speed off the road. This shows you don't need a big budget to have fun. Car only costed me AUD$3,000 Mods another AUD$2,000 Total just under $5,000 / USD$4,000 with mods (Unfortunately car costs more here than US/UK) This build has a similar concept to " Mighty car mods - Budget track car ". Just cheap fun
