1960 Chrysler Imperial Crown 413 Wedge V8 Push Button Automatic
I thought you might like a look at this very unique 1960 Chrysler Imperial Crown sedan. It's powered by the original 413 Wedge V8, kicking out a factory rated 350HP and 470 Lb-Ft of torque. All that power is being sent through a 727 torqueflite automatic, that is controlled by a push button shifter. It's a really cool car, that still had some 50's feel to it...like the massive rear fins, tons of chrome, and the awesome taillights. Inside, you'll find a truly unique interior as well, with an unusual shaped steering wheel and huge gauges. This car also has all the modern creature comforts, like power windows, power seat, air conditioning, etc. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching! This car was filmed at Country Classic Cars in Staunton, IL www.CountryClassicCars.com The background track is Travel Light, by Jason Shaw, of Audionautix.com. We walked by this car and I said "It would be so cool if they started this things up." Well 30 seconds later the driver did just that. The sounds are absolutely awesome.

Vintage Racing - 1950s Indy Cars startup and race. LOUD!!!
Chris Ashworth records a series of 1950s Indy Cars at Michigan International Speedway. This was a vintage racing event that was associated with the Concours d'elegance of America, where these cars were on display after this event. This event was incredible! I got to wander in the pits and the garage area. You will hear these cars starting up right from the tailpipes, and you will see them driving on the track from the pits. Junkyard Cars Chrysler Imperial Hot Spot
Here is a junkyard I found in Fresno, California. There was about 5 acres of nothing but Chrysler Imperial's. I also ran across an old Jeepster, and 29 Chevy truck, some old hit and miss motors, and an Guiberson 9 cylinder radial diesel tank engine. There was a lot more to look at but I did not have time to see everything.
