Ford Cortina V8 twin turbo wins MSB - ProFab / Dandy Engines
ProFab Motorsport Fabrications Joe Gauci has taken out the Modified Street Blown class at the APSA Pro Street Shootout at Sydney Dragway. The Ford Cortina is powered by a Dandy Engines twin turbo 372ci small block Windsor V8 engine.

Classic Ford Show 2012.
Held at Santa Pod Raceway. A day of anything classic Ford. There was an auto jumble full of old and some new parts, stalls selling custom parts, a stunt show by Terry Grant and a host of old vehicles brought along by different clubs. There was also the "Run what ya Brung", where members of the public could run their own cars up the strip. The Jet Funny Car was amazing, must be like sitting on a time bomb!

Classic Ford Show 2012
Classic Ford Show returned to Santa Pod Raceway for 2012 and it had to be one of the busiest, best and most action packed yet!! The 2nd event in the Adrian Flux Auto Series did most definitely not fail to impress!
The sun was absolutely blazing and the only thing hotter than the weather was the action on the strip, with the owners of every type of classic Blue Oval setting super-fast time after super-fast time.
If the drag strip isn't enough to satisfy your appetite for Classic Ford action, there was also be a full timetable of live entertainment taking place off the strip including rally car passenger rides, drift taxis, extreme stunt shows which had you all on the edge of your seat and much, much more!
Away from the track action, the massive club area featured every kind Classic Ford and the show also played host to some amazing celebratory displays from the Classic Ford magazine itself.
Ford Nationals - Calder Park

Zakspeed Ford Turbo Capri
Zakspeed Ford turbo Capri beim AvD Oldtimer GP 2012 auf dem Nürburgring. Peter Zakowski fährt das Original Meisterschaftsauto von 1981, mit dem Klaus Ludwig damals gewann.
Das Fahrzeug ist mit dem kleinen Motor der Division 2 bestückt mit 1,4l Hubraum.
In beiden Rennen sah Zakowski die Zielflagge wegen technischer Probleme nicht. Im Rennen 1 bedrängt er Oliver Mathai im Porsche 935 und im Rennen 2 räumt er binnen kürzester Zeit das Feld von hinten auf.
Sowohl nach dem Training als auch nach dem ersten Rennen wurde am Fahrzeug umfangreich gearbeitet. Der Ladedruck ist noch nicht eingestellt und deshalb hat P.Zakowski die Hand häufiger mal am "Dampfrad".
Vom turbo Capri wurden insgesamt fünf Fahrzeuge gebaut. Ein Fahrzeug wurde zerstört, eines zu einem Mustang umgebaut, ein Fahrzeug wurde von Herbert Stenger bei Bergrennen eingesetzt, ein Fahrzeug baut Stefan Mücke in Berlin wieder auf und hier eben das 1981er Meisterschaftsauto bei Zakspeed.
