This truck has been a challenge for me over the past couple of weeks as you
will seen in the video. The lesson here is do your best to check the
engine out before you install it and even that may not be enough. Be
careful when doing a job like this especially if you are by yourself as you
can get seriously injured if your not careful so work carefully and
methodically and things should work out fine.

HOW TO: Replace IAC on 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 4.7l
This is a quick video on how to replace or clean the Idle Air Control
sensor on a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 with 4.7 liter V8. Before Starting,
disconnect the negative battery cable.
1) You first have to remove the big air box and air intake pipe which comes
off in about 2 minutes. The square box is only held down by two bolts ( one
on the right and one on the left) and a hose on the rear side ( just pull
it and it'll slide off).
Also, you have to loosen the screw that clamps the intake hose onto the
throttle body. Then slide the full box and hose off... You will then see
the black IAC sensor held in place with star headed screws. I used an allen
wrench and it worked out ok. There are 2 screws. Un-plug the connector
for more room to reach the screw in the back... Then clean or replace the
IAC with a new one.
Just an FYI, I think the IAC sensor is different on '02s and '03+ models...
I dont know why, I thought they were basically the same truck. Rock auto
has the part for $56.99 or you can get it at Autozone.
2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Top 5 Likes & Dislikes (Episode 6)
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) The 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is a capable and
even useful pickup truck that can serve as an everyday drive. But it is far
from perfect. In fact there are a number of areas that need improvement.
In Episode 6 of of this long-term test of the 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor,
Roman takes a look at the Top 5 things he likes about the new Raptor and of
course the Top 5 things that he dislikes.
The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is one of the baddest trucks in the land. It can
tow 8000 pounds, seat 5 comfortably, haul all of your stuff and still race
across the desert at over 100 MPH is perfect air-conditioned comfort.
That's why we at TFLtruck choose the 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor as our
first long term test truck. Usually truck manufacturers supply us with
pickups to test for a week at a time. We wanted to test the best selling
truck in the land for durability and reliability which meant buying a Ford
F-150. But not just any Ford F-150, the most powerful and the most off-road
worthy version that Ford builds.
