At 2.7L the Toyota 3RZ engine is certainly on the bigger side of 4-cylinders, fitting into Chris Tait's S14 200SX as a great conversion. Making around 1300hp, the 3RZ still retains the factory block and crank and spins upwards of 10,000rpm. Spooling a larger Borg Warner S500 88mm turbo @ 45psi Boost is made easier thanks to an 11:1 compression ratio running on methanol fuel while cooling is taken care of via a PWR liquid Intercooler and radiator. Fuel comes from 12 injectors governed by a MoTeC M800 computer. Sending power rearward is a 7in triple plate slider clutch and Liberty 5-speed gearbox. Jamboree 2012 saw the team chase a few gremlins throughout the weekend but the guys weren't not too far shy of their best time of 7.1-seconds.

Skyline R32 GT-R N1 runs 8s
Matthew Earl's stunning Nissan R32 GT-R is one of the neatest we've ever
seen. The high powered HKS single turbo
AWD Nissan broke into the 8-second zone recently making it one of the
quickest GT-R's using a H-pattern gearbox (PPG gearset) and radial tyres.
Ben Bray Nissan Altima SR20 turbo
Delving deeper into the world of sport compact racing, Group 1 Doorslammer
pilot Ben Bray's new Nissan Altima certainly looks the goods. With only one
test session prior to Jamboree the guys were able to take out the final of
the Pro Compact class with a cracking 7.10/196mph pass from the SR20 power
plant. Upgrades include a billet engine block, VVL cylinder head, Garrett
GT47 turbo, MoTeC M800 computer, Siemens
injectors, Racepack V500 data acquisition and a Lenco gearbox.
The car has since run as quick as 6.94 at 197mph.

Turbo 3RZ-FE 4Runner - Test Drive with Turbo Kit
Quick test drive video as requested several times.
Note: At the end of the video, where the AFR and Boost gauges are shown, pay attention to the
AFR gauge when I go WOT in first gear. It stays in closed loop, but then
goes open loop as soon as it hits second. For everyone who knows
about/tunes these trucks, is this normal? I am concerned about it being so
lean for being in Boost under load
while in first gear. Any help would be appreciated.
3RZ NISSAN 200SX - GOOD TIMES RACING TESTING NEW TURBO - TNT 14/12/2013
Chris Tait was out in his crazy Nissan 200sx powered by a Toyota 3rz motor.
The team were keen to test out a Garrett GT55 that was recently borrowed
through a friend. After a half track shake down pass to gather data,
unfortunately the weather got the better of Test n Tune and the meet was
cancelled. You can be sure he'll be back out ASAP to try again though.

Honda S600 Monster - 2JZ turbo powered!
Arguably the biggest eye opener at Jamboree 2012 was Phil Penny's JESUS

out of the bonnet was a giveway something was lurking beneath!

2014 Toyota Tundra takes on Ram 1500 & the Ike Gauntlet Towing Test ( Episode 4 )
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) The 2014 Toyota Tundra Pickup is built to tow.
But is it better than the Ram 1500 We decided to find out by putting both
pickups up against each other in a Mega Mashup Sequel. Once again both
trucks tow the old Lincoln Continental Mark V Diamond in the Rough up one
of the steepest and highest American Highways. From Dillion, Colorado to
the Eisenhower Tunnel U.S. I-70 climbs 8 miles to a maximum elevation of
11,158 feet or 3,401 meters. That's enough elevation and grade to test the
most powerful of pickups. Is the Toyota Tundra up to the task of towing a
over 7,000 pounds up to the top of the tunnel?
In fact according to Toyota this pickup can tow up to 9,600 pounds. That's
enough weight to need a commercial truckers license in most states. In this
first TFLtruck Ike Gauntlet video review we test the truck up the Ike
Gauntlet see how fast it will tow around 7,200 pounds of old American
Luxury car plus people and gear 8 miles up a 7 percent grade to the
Eisenhower tunnel with the help of our friend Kent from (
