Ford Thunderbird 5.8/351 exhaust

Just finished up 351 swap earlier in the week, converted to MAF and she runs pretty sweet...I still have a lot of work ahead to optimize the combination...very nice drivability so far.

Ford Thunderbird 5.8/351 exhaust #2
Exact same set up and conditions as the previous Exhaust clip video, but this time it's without the dinky restrictive tailpipes. Engine is much more responsive since removing tailpipes.

This is my 1997 F250 HD 2WD, the last of the square body's. Like if you like. Idle @ 11:35 Rev @ 12:35 10-90 MPH @ 13:10 Runs a 15.8 ET in the quarter with a rolling start because of wheel hop. I will be getting a new time soon as I can and I am hoping to drop up to a second. When I get ladder bars I'll be able to do a hard launch and that should drop some time too. *Notice, during the revving of engine, the blue must be a camera glare through the moisture, because the engine doesn't burn any oil and I never see any blue coming out of the Exhaust. 351w 5.8L Multiport EFI 5 Speed 10.5" Limited Slip Rear End Factory Roller Cam Edelbrock Performer Intake Twin 61MM BBK Throttle Body Dual Cone Air Filters (now have K&N here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0SWC7PIeac) Short "Straight Pipe" Exhaust After the Cat Next upgrades in planned order: 1) Ladder bars 2) Body work 3) Methanol injection 4) Zex Wet kit, planned 75 shot, hence the methanol injection. 5) Find a Dynomax, powerdyne, or vortech SC kit. 6) Remote turbo? 7) Just trying to reach MAX safe block potential of 500 RWHP. 351w & 5spd swap - Maiden Voyage
very first cruise after the 351w engine swap, and m5r2 5spd swap from the automatic, engine has about 280k miles on it removed from a 95 f250, with a dropped Exhaust valve leaking rear main oil seal, leaking valves, worn valve seals, worn rings, just a junk engine, but the purpose was to swap the engine in and get it running , then rebuild it with a 408 stroker and a turbo

351 Cleveland in 55 Ford : Nasty Cam + BIG exhaust = MUSIC
Spotted this old '55 Ford, pretty straight, but obviously no minty garage queen original or fancy restored show car. Hmmm... cop wheels & fat traction bars? Tracked down owner, talked '55s for a bit (had a black Vic way back when) & asked him if he'd mind popping the hood for pix. Him "OK, but first whatcha think's in there?" Me "Uh, 272, 292, maybe 312 Interceptor?" Him "Nope, that was long ago. Put a built 390 in there, blew it up. Built a 427, blew that up too. This is a *real* motor here. 351 Cleveland, son." Me "OK... Wouldn't wanna fire that up, would ya?" Too bad I didn't get a clip when he barked the tires on the way out of the lot, heh heh.
