1969 Roadrunner 440 six pack Dana disc
We finally finished this super nice1969 Road Runner, this is a full nut and bolt rotisserie resto. We started with a super straight and solid 1969 Road Runner, we took the body down to bare metal and started from scratch. Underside of the car has been coated with a rubberized bed liner for sound deadening and protection from road debris. Then we painted the top side with a really high quality base coat clear coat Black paint, we put on extra coats of clear so we would have more material to wet sand and buff to that show car finish. We put disc brakes on all four corners, tubular upper control arms and upgraded PST suspension parts. The engine is a beefed up 440 that is pushing 500 plus horse power with the 6 pack set up on it. We installed a 4 speed transmission, with a pistol grip shifter.

It has a 1968 440ci V8 and the factory original "Hemi" 4 speed manual transmission, the factory 8 3/4 posi rear end with 3:55 gears, factory front and rear sway bars, power steering, power disc brakes, custom performance dual Exhaust, and that super cool Hurst pistol grip shifter! The engine has an Edelbrock intake manifold, an Accel coil, Taylor wires, chrome valve covers, and a new Autolite Platinum battery. Will it Run? Episode 12: 1950 Plymouth Deluxe (Part 3 of 3)
Hi! This is the twelfth installment in our series about salvaging dead cars and getting them to run. This time it's a 1950 Plymouth Deluxe 2 door fastback sedan! This car has been sitting outside for most of its life, and hasn't been on the road since 1973. Can we get it to start? What are the chances of stopping it if we do? I got this car out of a field about 8 years ago; it was seized and very rough-looking. I pulled the head back then and unstuck it. While I was there, I replaced the timing chain. I put it away shortly after and never did anything with it until now. Well, we blew the budget... I had to pay for a water pump, 2 frost plugs, an upper rad hose, and one spark plug. Not bad... Car is still running: All original engine internals, old master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes and drums, original plug wires, cap, points, 5 old plugs... Original carb taken apart and cleaned; rebuilt with n.o.s. gaskets from collection original head gasket (re-used!) original generator (works!) and old fan belt. Original clutch, transmission and driveline. First oil change in 40 years! Thanks everyone for watching, commenting, and subscribing! More to come...
