Yamaha R1 & R6 - Azusa Canyon Group Motorcycle Ride.avi
Really long vid of our group ride to Azusa Canyon. One vid to cover the whole freakin' ride. Let me know what you think or if you'd prefer a few shorter vids instead. We aims to please ;)
Crash damage shown and rider interviewed. Like any ride there are ups and downs. Luckily the rider was ok and only minor damage to his bike and pride. He was wearing armor under his jeans. That gear and him not panicking minimized the damage to the bike and himself.
Total of 12 riders on various bikes: Yamaha R1 & R6, Yamaha V-Max, Suzuki M-50, Honda CBR1000RR, Honda CBR600RR, Ducati 1198, Buell Firebolt (I think?), Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, Kawasaki Ninja 636.
All in all our first large group ride of the year was pretty cool. Everyone had fun and made it home ok.
Thanks to all the riders that participated. To those that couldn't make it out this one, we'll see you on the next one ;)
Big welcome to Angie (Ninja ZX-6R), Vince (CBR1000RR Repsol) and Dakota (Yamaha V-Max) for joining us for this ride. Hope ya'll make it out to the next one in two weeks to the Big "O" (Ortega Highway).
Thanks for all the support and for watching.
Speed safe and wear the appropriate gear, it does make a difference.

This is a video of me first track day at Buttonwillow. It is the next to
last session of the day for C Group. Lots of offs that day. Hope everyone
was ok. In spite of the cool day and me off, it was the best track day
Can't wait for next year, more mods, more canyons, more tracks and more
vids for you to enjoy.
For the "Keyboard Cowboys": Have at it. Say whatever makes you feel taller,
smarter, better looking, studlier, etc. It don't phase me one bit ;)
For our supporters, viewers, fans, friends, riders, etc......this vid is
for you to enjoy, learn from, or just watch and say Damn!!! We ride for
ourselves, but also for you guys out there. That's why we post the good
with the bad and almost everything in between. So I hope you give us a good
rating and if you know someone who doesn't know us and might get something
from this vid, please share it with them.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts xoxox =)
Stay warm or Speed safe or both if you can.
C ya soon (fingers crossed)
Per your requests. My thoughts on why I crashed (only my opinion, I am no
My suspension was a bit to stiff for the bumpy sections of the track.
Had 3-4 lbs too much air in both tires.
Came in 2-3 mph faster than on
Started on the binders a tad bit later to clear the slower rider without
interferring with his entry.
Stayed on the binders a tad too long, coupled with the engine braking
weighted the front a bit more than I was comfortable with.
Was at the end of the first lap, tires not cold, but not fully up to temp
Came in a little further to the left than previous passes and went over
that shiny patch of asphalt.
I believe that all those factors together caused the front end to wash out.
I do not believe the front locked up violently, may be it did at some point
momentarily. Check the front tire for a flat spot or mark of any kind.
After cleaning and inspecting the front tire, I could not find any flat
spot, skid mark or other damage to the tire. Skid on the video is from the
tire turning and rotating at and rotating slower than the forwrd momentum
of the bike. It basically scrubbed the tire...hope that makes sense. Again
this is just my humble opinion. If you can add or correct any of the above,
I would appreciate it.
Thanks again for all the support =)

Honda CBR1000RR Repsol, Ducati 1198, Yamaha YZF-R1 & Yamaha YZF-R6.avi
Short vid taken a few minutes after a very fun ride with a couple of my
bros and Lady L. Good times!!!
First.....all the bikes are 2009 models. A beautiful Honda Repsol
CBR1000RR, exotic Ducati 1198, beastly Yamaha R1 and a sexy Yamaha R6.
Sadly I did not get any riding footage. I was being lazy and counting on my
bro on the Repsol to get it on his Contour HD. But it didn't work for some
reason. Oh well, next time. He thought he had a great shot of MTM saving
his Ducati from a lowside when he went wide and into a patch of dirt.
Important thing is the save.
Second.....i apologize for my lack of replies to PM's and comments lately.
No excuse, just me being lazy and busy. Will get a six pack of Corona's and
reply till they beers are no more.
Really appreciate all the support form everyone out there. Been really
feelin' the love for Lady L and myself. You guys rock!!!
Cheers to all the viewers and riders out there.
Thanks for reading and watching.
