This was the first experience at the strip and I happened to lose every race there.
16.65 was the best I could get with the tired 3.1L.

This race really shows the disadvantage of weight, the Festiva has an
Escort GT engine only making 130 hp but stayed very close.
Turned out to be the best pass of the night with 15.371 at 89.84 mph.
Adam and Matt at SIR
This was the opening day at the Saskatchewan International Raceway. On
Street legal night, anyone with a car and a drivers licence can come race
on the Strip. Matt and I wanted to see how the 5.0 would do. As it turns
out, there are a lot of fast cars out there.
Adam and Tavis at SIR
Tavis and I got out to the Saskatchewan International Raceway on June 6th,
2014. The weather was co-operating and the 5.0 was almost a full second faster than the opening weekend.
Tavis brought his Impala for some of fast paced action. It did very well.
Lots of people show up for the Street legal night were anyone and any car
can show up and race on the track rather than the streets. Everything from
9 second tire shredders to 20 second grocery getters come here to race and

My Civic with my B16A SiR II first time at the track. 14.547 @ 95.74mph on
street tires with full interior and crap in the car. I'll be going back to
the track next time with Nitrous!
