NO RIGHTS ARE IMPLIED TO THE MUSIC PLAYING......Just purchased this 454 Chevy engine. Had been sitting for 10 yrs. 86,000 actual miles on it. Switched to the electronic distributor and it started right up. Just needs a little more "cam" to make it sound better. OH, AND I FOUND OUT IT IS A 2-BOLT MAIN,MY BAD!!

Decided to do a video with little different perspective. This is a ridealong with Kamron in his Ford 460 big block on 54" Boggers with 4 wheel steering. We got hung up on some off-camber ruts, so Kamron worked that 4WS and let those Boggers chew! Got a little muddy while videoing, but made for a cool video! Christy in her Chevrolet 4WD/4WS mudder on skidder tires was close behind.

Ford 460 Acceleration 1971 LTD 20-70 mph(6.4 sec)
My new 460 in my 1971 LTD. C-6, 2200 stall, 2.75:1 ring and pinion, about 400 hp 530 lb. ft. Car has a huge amount of power. It short shifts(4500 rpm) and hesitates because of a heavy secondary spring(black) and still accelerates like mad. I'm going to do some carburetor tuning and find a way to shift manually while holding the camera, then post a new video. I'm pretty sure it will hit 100 in around 10 seconds properly tuned.

Project 460 Fox Mustang Part 2
Porting and polishing the cylinder heads, assembling and firing up the 460. This engine was built for Project 460 Fox Mustang when the plan was for a street/strip car. After finding a super deal on a lot of go fast(er) parts, the plans have changed. This engine will be sold and a new, more powerful motor will be built for mainly drag racing.
