1965 Buick Riviera GS
1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport for sale in Chicago, IL. The production Riviera shared its body shell with no other model, which was unusual for a GM product. The first-generation Riviera is considered a styling landmark, and is quite collectible today.[9] The 1963-1965 Riviera met with approval from all quarters, and has since earned Milestone status from the Milestone Car Society. Changes for 1965 included the introduction of the Gran Sport option, which included the dual-quad Super Wildcat 425 V8, a numerically higher 3.42 axle ratio, and stiffer, heavy-duty suspension. The stock dual Exhaust pipes were increased from 2.0 inches (51 mm) to 2.25 inches (57 mm) inside diameter and had fewer turns to reduce back pressure. Options for this numbers matching 1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport include the following: AM/FM Radio, Cassette, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows,Power Trunk Release, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Raised White Letters, and Rally Wheels. This 65 Gran Sport was repainted in 2003 with the hood, trunk lid, glass, and all door panels having been removed. The paint work was performed with PPG 2-Stage paint - wet sanded and buffed - then re-assembled. Both the carburetor and the fuel pump have been rebuilt. 1963 Buick Riviera 401 cu/in Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Review
Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! YouTube's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the first generation 1963 Buick Riviera. GM's first "personal luxury car". Designed for those looking for luxury and style with a thirst for performance. With dramatic styling for 1963 and arguably one of the nicest looking interior's from the 60s, the Riviera was definitely ahead of it's time. Design cues can even be seen with the last generation (8th gen) riviera from 1995-1999. Potent 401 cu/in (6.6) and automatic transmission, a timeless classic! During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and Exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of YouTube! Bad-Ass Buick: 1955 Special - /BIG MUSCLE
Owner: • Harry Fisher In stock form, the 1955 Buick Special could best be described as a "nice" car. It's not drop dead gorgeous like a 1959 Impala, nor does it have the panache of say a 1956 Chrysler 300. You see the '55 Buick Special was a working mans car. It had room enough for the whole family, a decent power-plant thanks to its 264 cubic inch V8, and style that was, well... above average. Harry Fisher or "Uncle Harry" as most people know him, saw the old Buick a bit differently though. He knew that with a few little touches (like a 502 cubic inch big-block, modern suspension, and a new set of wheels) that this old Buick had the potential to become one of the baddest hot-rods around.
