How to Remove a 2.8 V6 Engine from a Pontiac FIero step-by-step (HD)
This is a video giving a visual step-by-step process on how to remove the
2.8 liter V6 engine from a Pontiac Fiero using basic tools. The only tools
that you may need to rent, borrow or buy is an engine hoist and some 4
wheel moving dolly's. I've attempted to make this video as visual as
possible so that anyone could see how to remove the engine using basic
This video can also be a useful guide when reinstalling the engine as is
shows how things were disconnected. Most of the disassembly steps can be
done in any order with the exception of a few parts.
Please comment and share with other Fiero enthusiasts.
If I do not know how to do something, I usually turn to YouTube FIRST to
see if there is a video on it. Since I use YouTube to teach me things I
figured I'd pay it forward and post videos of what I know.

1974 Pontiac Firebird
The Pontiac Firebird was built by the Pontiac division of General Motors
between 1967 and 2002. The Firebird was introduced the same year as the
automaker's platform-sharing model, the Chevrolet Camaro. This coincided with the
release of the 1967 Mercury Cougar, which shared its platform with another
pony car, the Ford Mustang.
The second generation debut for the 1970 model year was delayed until
February 26, 1970, because of tooling and engineering problems. Replacing
the "Coke bottle" styling was a more "swoopy" body style, with the top of
the rear window line going almost straight down to the lip of the trunk
lid. This look was to epitomize F-body styling for the longest period
during the Firebird's lifetime. The 1974 models featured a redesigned
"shovel-nose" front end and new wide "slotted" taillights.

Wide-Track: 1959 Bonneville - /BIG MUSCLE
• Chuck Cushner
Slathered in Lamborghini orange paint and exuding a presence that is
anything but subtle, this 1959 Bonneville is a car that represents a peak
time in American automotive design. It was drafted before government
mandates and regulations stifled imagination and creativity, and takes us
back to an era when we still looked to the stars for inspiration. This is a
car that will stop you dead in your tracks and make you truly long for the
days when chrome was King, gas was a mere .25¢ per gallon, and where Elvis
Presley was the greatest thing the public had ever heard.
