This here is the Datsun 280Z. This Japanese Classic has a 2.8 Liter Inline 6 pushing out 150 horsepower which may not seem alot by this car weights close to 2,700 pounds which means it has a good power to weight ratio. This car was fast especially in its time which was from 1975 to 1978. This is a cool classic sports car that you just cant miss. You can also see the Nissan 370Z NISMO which is a full on sports car, i purposly didnt film this car, but i thought i would just include it a little, ill take a video of one very soon. Many months ago, Nissan asked their fans to help them create the ultimate 370Z track car. They called it Project 370Z. To put it to the test, Nissan fans were asked to vote for a challenger to compete against it. They chose a 1970 Datsun 240Z with an RB26 engine transplant built by Gordon MacSwain. On this episode of The Downshift, we head to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for an epic David vs Goliath battle between these two amazing machines.
