70ton dumper stuck in mud pulled by D10 dozer
This CAT777 dumper got stuck in a soft muddy spot and it took a D10 dozer as well as a big loader to get it out.
We loaded this dumper with single wheels at the rear because owner was waiting for new tyres to be delivered.
To get to the offloading point we have to cross under a bridge which is too low for us to pass under. We then offload before the bridge and the dumper drives under the bridge by its own where we load it again further to offloading point.
After passing under the bridge we got stuck in a soft muddy spot. Probably would not have; if we had duals on the rear of the dumper.
Dumper is working on Coal mine in South Africa near Johannesburg.

In less than 4 sec tot 100 km/h
Topspeed in video is 106 km/h
Km/h in 4 gears: 53 - 67 - 92 - 106
5th gear not used, the track was to short.
The Dutch Prostock record run was driven a few days later, in Lisse on Sept 24, 2011
Time 6.79 sec, 0.148 sec reaction time
The net run time is 6.65 seconds.
The engine is a modified aircooled Kreidler.

Banks Top Diesel Dragster: NHRDA Nationals
On March 6th, 2010 the Banks crew tested out the rail's new "Stroker" 427 cu. in., twin-turbo 7.0L Duramax engine at the NHRDA Nationals in Wittmann, Arizona. The numbers for this trip out were 7.670 @173.54. We were a little faster back in April 2009 when we ran 7.17 @ 181.08. We've also run a best trap speed of 190MPH with the car on a separate test session.
