BMW ring Taxi vs Porsche 911 on the Nurburgring (The Nordschleife!)

This is the best race track in the world. The Nordschleife! This is the one were every bike on the track gets in the way of the cars, but to be fair it isn't a race, and the bikers are only there sight seeing not to ride fast. This video is from 2007, BMW M5 vs Porsche 911 (the passenger is a biker and has just been riding round the track, now he goes in the Porsche, several times he says how 'incredible' the car is he even points out how much the bikes slow the cars down drastically especially after the bus, listen to him, the bikers think they are going fast!) People can make excuses for the riders in this video, which is fine, but at the end of the day it's a video about cars not bikes, and for those saying it isn't Sabine, IT IS Sabine driving the BMW! it is the old M5 with 450 bhp! I meant, it's easier to ride a bike than drive a car, to learn at least. Not to take anything away from the bike riders, it takes skill, lots of skill and balls of course, or stupidity, which ever you like. No I wont ride a bike at these kinds of speeds, I like being alive, yes I will drive a car at these speeds, it feels safe, even if it isn't!

BMW Ring Taxi - A Lap With Sabine Schmitz
This is a lap of the "Green Hell" with Sabine Schmitz on the 5th of September 2010. It was great to have Sabine as our driver, and a huge thanks to her and BMW RingTaxi for the thrill of being driven at high speed on a track that takes many years to learn. We had so much fun, and highly recommend it to anyone going to Germany, that likes the Nurburgring, and isn't game enough to bring their own car, or hire a track day car. And we can't help but congratulate Sabine for saying the line "I tell you something, I could do that lap time in a van", which ultimately led to Jeremy Clarkson pretty much being beaten around the 'ring by Sabine in a diesel Ford Transit van. I hope to come back in a few years and do it again! Worth flying from Australia for :)

BMW M3 GTS and Porsche GT3 RS Nurburgring 7min55 BTG
Fun lap during a trackday with my M3 GTS and a orange Porsche GT3RS. The car is a bit wobbly at this videoclip, meanwhile we improved the setting of the car (except brake pads still OEM). At this point it was still out of shape. It would also be nice if there would fit more tyres (Trofeo, Cup of slicks perhaps), but unfortunately only Pirelli and Dunlop make tyres for this car.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_R4gYle1GPI

Si B's Evo 8 racing/passing Ring Taxi BMW M5 at the Nurburgring
Bit of an update to help those folks too thick to realise that if you start behind someone, catch them up, and finish ahead of them, you've either driven through them, or overtaken them. It's really quite simple... save your trolling for somewhere else. I'm just a normal guy, driving a quick car briskly, I don't proclaim anything more or less. Yes the car could go faster, yes I could drive better, and yes the taxi could have gone faster. I don't need Captain Obvious comments saying just as much. Any normal comments, questions or musings are welcomed however :-) Me driving my Evo 8, initially chasing then overtaking BMW's M5 Ring Taxi round the Nurburgring.
