258 KM/H SUR LA GLACE- ULTIMATE FIGHT AND CRASH ENTRE PORSCHE GT3RS ET YAMAHA R1

EXTREME, 258 KM/H ON ICE, THE FINAL FIGHT AND CRASH: Lap times, heavy crashes, extreme riding on ice, awesome images, here is the final result of our match between a Porsche GT3RS (450 HP) and a Yamaha 1000 R1 (180 HP) on the replica (scale one) of the legendary 5.8 km Paul Ricard Track in Lapland by minus 25 degrees To win, the Porsche had 4 wheels, 450 horsepower and 2320 spikes. The R1 was counting on its lightness, its sharpest, 470 spikes and the "balls" of Serge Nuques to lean it to the maximum angle. The other equally tight match was between a Mitsubishi Evo 9 against a Yamaha 450 WRF. Entre Porsche 911 GT3 RS et Yamaha YZF 1000 R1, c'est s'est joué à plus de 250 km/h sur un lac gelé en Laponie et plus exactement sur la réplique à l'échelle 1 du mythique tracé de 5.8 km du Paul Ricard. La Porsche avait pour l'emporter, 4 roues, 450 chevaux et 2 320 clous. La R1 comptait sur sa légèreté, ses 470 clous plus acérés et les "cojones" de son pilote Serge Nuques pour lui faire prendre un angle juste improbable sur la glace. L'autre match tout aussi serré opposait une Mitsubishi Evo 9 face à une Yamaha WRF 450. Réponse en chronos et en images chocs!

Le Moto Tour, c'est du brutal. Ce n'est pas les détracteurs du monde moto qui nous contrediront. Plus les motards en ont une grosse, plus ils peuvent réaliser d'exploits... à son guidon. Pourtant, moi, cette grosse là, elle m'intimidait à l'excès! Une MV Agusta 1090 Brutale version Canonball Run affûtée jusqu'au bout des longues portées car préparée par le Team Delétang pour affronter les 2500 kilomètres du Moto Tour. Ouais, vous avez bien lu, la Brutale 1090! Le truc plein bourré de couple qui te fait parcourir dix fois plus de mètres que ton cerveau ne l'aurait souhaité à chaque rotation de la poignée de gaz. Le roadster radicale, extrême, brutal qui te fait vivre la route... et tous ses défauts. Alors pensez si chasser le chrono sur route et affronter les 2500 bornes de liaison me remplissait de joie. Mais quand faut y aller...

On a cold Sunday there were 4 lowsides that I knew of, this is the video for two. Sorry for the shaky footage (more details below) CBR600RR - Q2 Tires, track bodywork ziptied together. Rider was on cold tires moments before lowside. Pressures were also too high for the weather. No injury to rider, just cosmetic damage to the bike. Ducati Panigale - 1199s was a rental from racyrentals.com, rider was from out of town and only had two days on the bike. bike was damaged heavily from frame, forks, wheels & bodywork. Rider only had minor bruises and road rash to right forearm. Bike carried full coverage from rental so a $2500.00 vehicle waiver will be charged for the damage. Bad Driving Compilation
A collection of lane crossers and driving fails recorded on Mulholland Hwy over the last 6 Months. Celica at end is same as one from beginning, he crashed a couple turns after he passed me. Mulholland Highway in Los Angeles has been a popular riding area for motorcycles & fast cars for decades. Car and motorcycle clubs are regular visitors every weekend. Jay Leno can often be found at the famous Rockstore and at a view point called Lookout talking with fellow motor enthusiasts. Crashes are common as well as a heavy police presence on most weekends. The Snake is a two mile section of Mulholland above the Rockstore. Riders usually will make multiple runs allowing me to move from corner to corner when assembling rider videos. The speed limit is 45 mph, most riders are not going much over that so the majority of tickets are crossing the line, wheelies or equipment violations. Bicycles are up here all the time but motorcycles and bikes seem to do fine together as long as the cyclists are willing to stay to the right. Cars passing them are a bigger problem since there is no shoulder and most turns are blind. I mainly shoot on the last corner coming up because I can see much of the road and photogs are expected. The turn gets it's fair share of crashes but people crash other places also just no one is filming. The top corner I shoot seem to average one crash every couple weeks in the summer, out of many hundreds of riders. 911 emergency services are rarely called and accidents are seldom reported since most riders do not get injured severely.
