Saturn S-Series Strut Replacement
Here I show how to remove and replace a strut and spring assembly on my
2002 Saturn SL2. Recently broke a spring which prompted me to replace not
only the spring but a worn out strut. I also went ahead and replaced the
rear strut assemblies as well since I was unsure when the last time they
were replaced(if at all).

Who races a saturn 4 door car?
My 1997 saturn SL1 converted. I took out the sohc and put in a dohc,
header, 2 & 1/2" Exhaust with Dynomax muffler. High voltage
MSD coils, 8.8 wires. It had a bored throttle body and true cold air
intake. I installed an egr block off plate and I used fuel injectors from a
Pontiac grand am gt. The transmission is the original 5 speed from the sohc
setup which has lower gearing. The car was dropped a little by cutting the
strut springs. The wheels are 16" aluminum. The guages were changed as well
with the motor swap as can be seen at 4:57 in the vid, so the readings are
accurate. Note how it pulls from 60 to 90mph. Pretty decent for a naturally
aspirated 4 cylinder.

Cutting White Wire on Saturn Ion to Fix Starting Issue
UPDATE 3/21/2014: My car is still working fine. I still have not had a
problem with it starting since I posted this video 5 years ago. Still on
the same battery. Thanks for all the comments!
This is me showing how I cut the passlock wire on my car. My car would not
start on damp, cold mornings, often taking 30 - 40 minutes to get it to
start. After reading several forums I found users who were doing this to
"fix" the problem. I thought I would tape this for anyone who was thinking
of doing the same but doesn't know anything about cars. Like me. :)

Update 10.6.2012: I added a switch, I believe it was this one

it with it in the off position, started the car, switched it to On while
the car was running and the service engine light went away. Car started
fine after that. I just shut it off again as it was cold one morning this
week and I had trouble getting the car started. Once I got it running,
turned it off and haven't had trouble starting it since. YMMV
