Checking and Adding ATF to Ford Trans Without Dipstick
This video shows how to check & top off the automatic transmission fluid in a 2006 Ford Explorer that didn't come from the factory with a transmission dipstick. The background noise gets a little loud. Sorry. A thunderstorm hit while I was working on the vehicle & I had a limited amount of time that the transmission fluid was going to be in the right temperature range to check it. Yes, I know, I need to insulate my garage.

Dodge 46RE transmission removal
Here's a long ass clip of me pulling the transmission in my 1998 Dodge Ram. It's completely hosed, as the fluid indicates with all the various metal shavings in it. I'll be doing a complete teardown and rebuild myself. Updates and vids of the complete teardown to come soon.

The lesson here is do your best to check the engine out before you install it and even that may not be enough. Be careful when doing a job like this especially if you are by yourself as you can get seriously injured if your not careful so work carefully and methodically and things should work out fine. Honda Transmission Rebuild Video - Transmission Repair
Honda Transmission Rebuild Video - Transmission Repair On this video we see what it takes to Rebuild a Honda Transmission, what parts it takes and what has been working to correct some of the common failures on these transmissions. Blue Overheated Torque Converters has been a common issue on these Transmissions for a long time and we still see this regularly to this day. Although there are various shift correction kits and special valves out there, all work really good on correcting the issue with the lack of converter feed fluid. I like them all. So if a deciding factor is important to you on which method to use, all I can say is this, They all work. Keep in mind that there are "other" fixes or items that can be added to the rebuild, but it is not really necessary if they're not really needed, I'm not mentioning any but I know some of you will. With that being said I like to thank you for watching this video and liking it and sharing it. Thank you guys for your support. Please Subscribe if you not already. Thanks.

Trans & Clutch 5 - Install Transmission
Installing an AWD transmission, transfer case, axles, mounts, crossmember and sensors. Torque specs and part numbers are listed for a '95 AWD, but many of the fasteners are the same for 1g cars and later production models. Torque specs are covered where important. Yes I know I'm missing a bushing from the crossmember, that's why I didn't torque it. I'll find it cleaning up.
