Inspecting the Head on the Jeep 4.0 motor and final Thoughts
BUY A JEEP SERVICE MANUAL AND LEARN TO FIX IT YOURSELF http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CHVC6M/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789& creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000CHVC6M&linkCode=as2&tag=bullshitkor01-20&l inkId=ZMHIZITBN6S6RPC6 This is the the final video in the jeep motor teardown and i'm finally uploading it almost 3 months after i filmed it. In my conclusion the rocker arm bolt loosened off causing too much play for the push rod resulting in the rod snapping along with the lifter to break as well. this along with overdue oil changes lead to the death of this motor. however with almost 300 km's on the engine it did very well for itself. the next engine teardown will be the v-tec motor and we will see what it's about.

2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Engine Noise (4.0L) - EricTheCarGuy
Visit me at: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/ This was a strange one, a little more than a week after I put a starter on this engine it comes back with this horrible engine noise and I decided to investigate. I wasn't able to find the source of the noise and later in the day after they took the Jeep back the engine apparently let go for good. My friend then sold it to someone with a salvage yard and I haven't been able to get hold of him to find out what happened to it. I hope I'm able to track down the new owner and find out what the deal was with it and post a video response when I do, till then I'm afraid it's going to remain a mystery. --- Click below and Stay Dirty Visit me at EricTheCarGuy.com http://ericthecarguy.com/ Visit EricTheCarGuy Forum http://www.ericthecarguy.com/forum/default.aspx Visit my Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/EricTheCarGuy --- Stay dirty ETCG Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, it cannot guarantee against unauthorized modifications of this information, or improper use of this information.
