Install of a 63mm throttle body on a Jeep Tj 4.0l Engine
this simple video just shows a install of a throttle body on a jeep tj 4.0l
motor. the motor is still not installed but coming in the very near
future. this install is very simple I didn't focus too much on what's all
involved because it's very easy.

This was a strange one, a little more than a week after I put a starter on
this engine it comes back with this horrible engine noise and I decided to
investigate. I wasn't able to find the source of the noise and later in
the day after they took the Jeep back the engine apparently let go for
good. My friend then sold it to someone with a salvage yard and I haven't
been able to get hold of him to find out what happened to it. I hope I'm
able to track down the new owner and find out what the deal was with it and
post a video response when I do, till then I'm afraid it's going to remain

Jeep Tj 4.0l Banks Torque Tube Header install
Spent the first part of my weekend getting up early to install the banks
torque tube header on my jeep tj 4.0 litre motor. This was fairly easy
with the motor out doing this install with the motor in the jeep would be a
pain in the ass i can see that happening. this is just a simple bolt on no
really skills needed besides for patience for 2 bolts that can be a bit of

1997 Jeep 4.0 Distributor Oil Leak Pt.1

and it seemed to be coming from around the distributor so we went ahead and
changed the gasket. Then we messed up the timing and had to start all over.

Hennessey HPE800 Twin Turbo Jeep
This HPE800 Jeep was built in Texas by Hennessey Performance.
It has a twin dual ball bearing turbo
set up, and a low compression 426CID engine.
We have rebuilt the transmission for it, with kevlar clutches and stronger
solenoids for a Stage II valve body.
A BASIC Supercharger KIT AT R.P.A. FOR
THE CHEROKEE 4.0L OR A FEW OTHER MODELS. BUT THIS IS FIRST SETUP ON THIS

1996 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L Turbo Test Drive
Finally fixed my Exhaust leak and oil
leak. Took her for a little test run. Nothing too crazy since there are no
plates or headlights on it right now.

Jeep 4.7 Stroker Turbo Dyno Pulls
Newcomer Racing 4.7 Stroker turbo on the
Dyno in naturally
aspirated form for break-in and Dyno numbers. The 4.7 was
broke-in and ran with a 390 Holley, then for the last two pulls we decided
to try a 750 Holley to see if the 4.7 could take it and boy did it ever!
The power numbers were up all the way through the power curve we ended up
w/312.2hp@5400 and 330.5tq@4400. Dyno pulls were made from
2500rpm's thru 5500rpm's, it made over 300ft.lbs the entire rpm range. The
current Dyno numbers
are made by a Jeep 4.7 stroker w/ 8.43:1 compression, ported head and
intake, and a small custom turbo comp.
