Supercharged 1969 Camaro Pro Street Muscle Car

If you've seen this before, I apologize. I thought this car deserved a second look with my new camera. It's an amazing machine and very well-built. It's equipped with a built 377 small block topped by a 8-71 Weiand Supercharger and dual Demon Carbs. The power is funneled through a stout turbo 400 automatic to the 9 inch Ford Rearend with Moser axles and 4.56 Gears. Inside, you'll find a 14 point roll cage, complete with funny car style hoops over the driver and passenger. There really is too much amazing equipment on this car to list. I hope you enjoy taking a look at it, thanks for watching! Background track is Whiskey on the Mississippi by Kevin MacLeod. Available under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported license. 1971 Olds 442 W-30 455V8 Muscle Car - Low Original Miles
I thought you'd like a look at this very nicely restored 1971 Olds 442 Muscle Car. It is a numbers matching original with only 54xxx miles since new. It's equipped with the W-30 option package which included a factory blueprinted Rocket 455, with H-heads, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carb, and forced air induction. This is one of the last true muscle cars. This car is one of only 920 produced with the W-30 option that year. I hope you find it as interesting as I did. Wicked 9 Second Dodge Challenger
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV I thought you'd like a look at this wicked Dodge Challenger that was running at Mega Mopar Weekend at Gateway Motorsports Park. This awesome beast has no trouble running mid 9's in the quarter mile, as you can see in the video. It definitely looks and sounds mean too. Thanks for taking a look! 132961 / 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/76q69tb If you're one of the growing number of enthusiasts who wants to actually enjoy the performance, look, and value of the storied Yenko name, this '69 Camaro is your opportunity to forgo the time, headache and six figure cost of building one yourself. There's no question that the '69 Camaro is one of the best looking muscle cars of all time. Throw in a slick coat of correct GM code 72 Hugger Orange paint and an authentic race-inspired Yenko decal kit, and it becomes one seriously lust-worthy piece of automotive art. Naturally, all this car's top notch eye candy rides on a clean and arrow straight body which presents solid, dent-free panels with better-than-new fit and super narrow gaps. And its rugged two-stage urethane provides the kind of dynamic finish and glossy shine that will emphasize the car's power and attitude for years to come. Lift this Camaro's bright orange hood and you'll find a date correct iron block 427 which has been restored to a highly accurate, showroom fresh appearance. At the top of that block air flows from a correct open element air cleaner, which is adorned with a new 427 cross-flag decal, into a coated Holley 4-barrel carburetor and a modern aluminum Chevrolet intake manifold. At the sides of that intake, spectacular finned aluminum valve covers hang multi-colored Yenko emblems above fully restored cast iron Exhaust manifolds. And at the back of those valve covers, a rebuilt points distributor sends fire through correct Packard TV R Suppression wires. Cooling is provided by a Yenko-spec Harrison heavy duty radiator which sends water through reproduction GM hoses and fresh tower clamps. And, since this Camaro came with factory equipped power steering and power disc brakes, an appropriately tagged Delco Moraine brake Booster hangs on the firewall and a correct power steering pump is bolted to the left side of the engine block. Although you could get a Yenko with a slushbox, the vast majority were equipped with tough M21 Muncie 4-speeds. And this particular Camaro, which has been upgraded with a virtually indestructible Borg Warner ST-10, spins a correct 12 bolt Posi-traction rear end and tire shredding 3.90 gears via a correctly detailed driveshaft. That rear end hangs on restored leaf springs and brand new shocks which help give the car its crouching stance; and that transmission rides just behind a restored double A-arm front suspension which features fresh shocks, correct factory optioned power steering and correct factory optioned power disc brakes. At the center of the car, a thrill inducing soundtrack roars through a fresh Gardner Exhaust system which accurately duplicates the car's original chambered pipes. And at the corners of the car, era correct 15 inch American Racing Torque Thrust D wheels wear a fresh set of E70-15 Goodyear Wide Tread GTs. Inside this pristine Yenko tribute, it's 100% Camaro; and that's always a good thing! Original GM code 713 Black Houndstooth upholstery features an OEM feel that simply can't be duplicated by today's best restoration products. An optional Z87 deluxe interior package, which includes unique stainless trimmed door panels, wood grain dash applique and bright pedal trim, amps up the visual appeal. And bold "YSC" headrest decals provide just the right amount of detail to elevate an already impressive cockpit to a whole new level. In front of the driver, a good looking black dash hangs beautifully restored gauges, an electric clock and controls for the cars heater above bright wood grain trim and a correct Delco AM radio. Below that dash, an optional center console props a completely chrome Hurst short throw shifter above great looking wood faced and chrome trimmed accent plates. And at the sides of the seats, black deluxe door panels are decorated with excellent looking stainless trim and correct white inlayed "Camaro" emblems. Connecting the driver to the road is a fully restored factory steering wheel which spins a blue bowtie and great looking wood applique around a factory tilt steering column. If a Super Sport is just too ordinary and you really dig the magical appeal of that storied 4, 2, and 7 number combination, this high quality Yenko is just what you need! Crusher Camaro Hits the Drag Strip! - HOT ROD Unlimited Episode 3
On this episode of HOT ROD Unlimited, we look at the history of HOT ROD magazine's longest-term project car, the Crusher Camaro. Watch as the '67 goes to the drag strip for the very first time in its latest configuration as a '70s street machine, complete with an 8-71 blower on a big-block Chevy. For you tech heads, here are the specs on the car: It's a '67 Camaro that weighs 3,650 with the driver. The engine is 489 ci with a Weiand 8-71 that has been blueprinted by The Blower Shop in Simi Valley, California. The carbs are 750 Holleys, and the oval-port heads are also from Holley. The engine has a very small (226-at-0.050) hydraulic roller cam. At 5 psi Boost, it makes 520 hp at the wheels, and 500 lb-ft of torque. The transmission is a Gearstar 4L85E auto-overdrive, and the rear gears are 3.50:1 in a Ford 9-inch with a Wavetrac diff from Moser Engineering. We ran the Crusher on 30x9.50-15 Hoosier radial slicks for this trip to the track, though on the street it rides on Pro-Tracs from Coker Tire. This car is very streetable on 91-octane gas. 2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1 vs. Mark Stielow's Red Devil '69 Camaro - HOT ROD Unlimited Episode 13
On this episode of HOT ROD Unlimited, David Freiburger meets up with Pro Touring legend Mark Stielow to compare old and new Camaros head to head. Mark Stielow is a GM engineer with a long history of building vintage, street-worthy Camaros with amazing handling prowess. His latest is the Red Devil, a '69 model powered by a 427ci, supercharged LS9 that tops 750 hp and 800 lb-ft. It runs a six-speed trans and complete suspension from Detroit Speed, and has won a number of shootouts with similarly built Pro Touring cars. But can his modified muscle car outrun the technology of the Magnetic Ride suspension on the new, 580hp, 2012 Camaro ZL1? We head to GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, Michigan to find out.
