2012 Hyundai Azera Test Drive & Car Review

http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/azera/?id=32972 The 2012 Hyundai Azera is premium a Full-Sized front wheel drive family sedan. The Azera may be one of the lesser known vehicles in the Hyundai stable, but for 2012 this car has been totally redesigned both inside and out. The 2012 Hyundai Azera not only has the most horsepower in its class, but it also has the most interior space. The Azera may be one of the best kept secrets in the entire automotive industry. With a base price of $32,000 the Azera is priced in between the smaller Hyundai Sonata and the luxurious Hyundai Genesis sedan. The 2012 Hyundai Azera is powered by a new breed of engine called GDI. This gas direct injected motor is a 3.3 liter V-6 engine that produces 293 horsepower and 255 lb-ft. of torque which is the best in class. The 6-speed transmission is pretty efficient and allows the Azera to reach a fuel economy rating of 20 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway. On the outside the new Azera features Hyundai's Fluidic Design which can be seen on other vehicles like the Sonata and Accent. In fact the Azera looks like a full sized version of the Accent. HID Xenon headlights are standard and LED accents add to the appeal of this car. There is a great panoramic sunroof as an addition feature. Out back a set of oval looking integrated chrome Exhaust tips perfect compliment the rest of the car. A set of optional 19-inch hyper silver alloy wheels add to both the Azera's physical appeal as well as its handling capabilities. The 2012 Hyundai Azera features all the amenities you need in a full-sized family car. There are driver controls mounted on the steering wheel, a touch screen navigation system, push-button start, Bluetooth, and more. But the real kicker is the level of comfort. There are various premium seating options available. The seats are heated, ventilated, and adjustable. Combine that with the largest amount of interior room and you have one very comfortable sedan. Some of the other vehicles the Azera is up against are the Buick LaCrosse, Toyota Avalon, Nissan Maxima, and Ford Taurus. The Hyundai Azera provides room, comfort, and good fuel economy. 2013 Hyundai Azera Test Drive & Full Size Sedan Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/azera/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Hyundai Azera is a car that gets lost in a sea of full sized entry-level luxury sedans. Last year this vehicle received a total redesign and the result was one of the best all-around cars in this segment. The Azera gets less press than the smaller Sonata and the rear wheel drive Genesis Sedan, but this sedan has a lot of great things going for it including: tons of interior room, a powerful V-6 engine, top safety ratings, advanced technology, and sleek looks. The 2013 Hyundai Azera is only available in one trim with a base price of $32,250. Hyundai is currently in the business of building stylish, shapely sedans. The Azrea takes the polarizing look of the Sonata and adds some maturity by toning down the exterior styling cues. The result is a nice large sedan that the more sophisticated crowd will enjoy. Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture design is still evident just not as dramatic. Up front the headlights are elegant and stylish with their integrated LED's. Out back the dual chrome Exhaust tips have some added design of their own. The 2013 Hyundai Azera is powered by a GDi 3.3 liter V-6 engine that makes 293 horsepower and 255 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is 20 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway. The only transmission option is a 6-speed automatic. The whole powerplant is responsive and powerful delivering smooth acceleration. As good as the new Azera looks on the outside, it is even better on the inside. Hyundai has done an excellent job at making the interior of the Azera a premium space. The surfaces are wrapped in upscale materials; the front seats are 12-way adjustable and heated. The center stack is packed with technology housing a large navigation screen and well laid out radio and heating controls. Rounding off the interior positives is the large panoramic sunroof. For all the features and amenities you get; this car is at the top of the class. The 2013 Hyundai Azera looks nicer and better put together than the competition. For the price, features, looks, style, and engine; you are getting tons of car. The Hyundai Azera is a true winner in its class. The car will put up a great fight against vehicles in the luxury class. See More Car Videos http://www.autobytel.com/car-videos/?id=32972 Join Our Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/autobytel

2012 Toyota Prius c Test Drive & Hybrid Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/toyota/prius/2012/?id=32972 Toyota changed the automotive landscape in 2000 when it launched the first generation of the Prius. Now for the 2012 model year there is a whole Prius family to choose from which includes the regular Prius, Prius v for larger families, Prius Plug-in, and now the Prius c. The 2012 Toyota Prius c is aimed at those who do a lot of city driving. The Prius c has a few more sporty bits to entice younger buyers. Up front the fascia wide and aggressive, the headlights look cool and updated. Out back there are fins on the tail lights which help to create a vortex and keep the Prius c stable at speed. Starting at about $19,000 the Prius c has 4 different trim levels. The engine on the 2012 Toyota Prius c is a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor and battery pack which completes the Hybrid Synergy Drive. The Prius c only has 99 horsepower but the fuel economy more than makes up for this small figure. Gas mileage for the Prius c is an amazing 53 MPG in the city and 46 MPG on the highway. With any sub-compact hatchback you might think there is not very much cargo room. With the seats folded down the Prius c has 17 cubic feet of cargo room. The batter pack is located under the back seat which makes for a tight squeeze. Up front is a different story as the driver and passenger seats are very comfortable. They are wrapped in a simulated leather which means no cows were harmed in the making of the seats. Everything is within easy reach. The vehicle displays gives tons of info related to the fuel economy. With only 99 horsepower the car should be sluggish. But on the highway the Prius c performs pretty well. The drive is sportier than the regular Prius which is right up the alley of younger potential buyers. Toyota has done a great job of creating a comfortable ride. The 2012 Toyota Prius c is lighter which helps with handling and the car also gets wonderful gas mileage ratings. 2012 Hyundai Equus Test Drive & Luxury Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/equus/2012/?id=32972 Everything you would expect in a luxury sedan can be found in the 2012 Hyundai Equus. In fact the Equus is a very nice alternative to Lexus, BMW, and Mercedes at a more affordable price. The Equus is a RWD long wheel base luxury sedan with a base price of $59,000. This is $15k-$30k less than is competition! When the Equus was first launched in this country it came with a very respectable 4.6 liter engine. But the engine certainly did not have the guts to match up to some of the competitors in the luxury car segment. For the 2012 model year the Equus gets an updated GDI 5.0 liter V-8 engine produces huge numbers at 429 horsepower and 376 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic. Fuel economy figures are 15 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway. Hyundai has gone to great lengths to shed the image that their cars lack character. Well the new fluidic design element is evident on the 2012 Hyundai Equus. Up front the Equus shares the same style front grill as the Genesis sedan. HID Xenon headlights equipped with LED turn signals really accent the exterior of this luxury sedan. The 19-inch chrome wheels are also a great touch and they perfectly accentuate the other chrome accents parts on the exterior. The Equus can easily be mistaken for a Lexus or other high-end luxury cars. If you got behind the wheel of a 2012 Hyundai Equus, you might think you are in a Lexus LS 460. The gauges are very similar to that of other high-end luxury cars and the seat adjustments are located on the door just like they are in a Mercedes S550. There is an 8-inch navigation unit that also displays driver information located in the center dash. The whole interior is wrapped in high quality leather. There are lovely wood accents throughout. The audio is handled by a 608-watt Lexicon sound system. The driver's seats are 12-way adjustable and feature both heating and cooling. In the back there are two premium first-class seats that can recline and feature leg support. The center console in the rear is a mini fridge. The 2012 Hyundai Equus combines all the best features found on other luxury cars in one great package. 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/genesis-coupe/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is back with a newly redesigned look and upgraded engine choices. The Genesis Coupe has always been lumped into the muscle car category with its front engine, rear-wheel drive platform. But the muscle cars have always held a distinct power advantage until now. The base engine for the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a turbocharged 2.0 liter 4-cylinder. Power is up 30% from 210 horsepower up to 274 horsepower. An upgraded dual-scroll turbo, larger Intercooler, and Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing help achieve these better power figures. Fuel economy for the 2.0 liter engine is 21 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. The other engine choice is a direct-injected 3.8 liter V-6 which produces 348 horsepower. Fuel economy for this engine is expected to be 18 MPG in the city and 28 MPG in the highway. There are two transmission choices available in the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe: an 8-Speed automatic or a 6-speed manual. On the outside the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe retains the same overall shape but the styling has been changed to reflect the rest of the Hyundai line-up. Up front the Genesis receives a more aggressive look thanks to an upgraded hood with two scoops, new front fascia, and larger bumper opening. Out back the Exhaust gasses exit out dual asymmetrical chrome pipes. The lights have been upgraded to include LED daytime running lamps which can be found on high end luxury cars. The R-Spec and Track editions will receive huge 19-inch alloy wheels. On the inside the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe features an available 360-watt Infinity sound system. There are steering wheel controls for the audio system and the usual iPod, USB, and auxiliary ports. A navigation system can be purchased as an option that includes a 7-inch touch screen monitor. The rear seats have been designed with comfort in mind. Instead of stuffing 3 seats in the rear; Hyundai has decided to go with only two. This means there is a ton of room for the rear occupants. When the Hyundai Genesis Coupe arrived on the scene a few years ago it was certainly a respectable car. In fact it was this car and the sedan version that really gave Hyundai a Boost in the automotive world. Now with the 2013 model there is more power! The base model 2.0 liter Hyundai Genesis Coupe starts at $24,250 and the top of the line 3.8 liter with the track package will retail for about $33,000. 2012 Hyundai Azera Drive and Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) For 2012 Hyundai Azera is all new. This fill-sized sedan from Korea competes with cars like the Toyota Avalon, Ford Taurus, Chrysler 300 and perhaps even the Lexus ES 350. For a base price that starts around 30K, the 2012 Hyundai Azera offers a lot of value for the money. The Azera can be had with a massive sunroof, it comes standard with plenty of leg room in both the front and back and seats that are all day road trip comfy. However unlike some of its rivals the Azera is front wheel-drive and not the fastest and certainly not the sportiest car in the segment. Check out this first drive review as we put the new and Sonota like Azera to the test.

TESTED: 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0t & 3.8 by DSPORT (1080HD)
First look at the refreshed 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe by DSPORT magazine. "The 3.8-liter Lambda DOHC V6 engine adds sophisticated direct-injection technology, adding 42 horsepower (a generous 14 percent increase) and 29 lb.-ft of torque (an eleven percent increase). Peak horsepower rises to 348 at 6,400 RPM, with peak torque increasing to 295 lb.-ft. at 5,300 RPM on premium fuel. In addition, lambda-engine anti-knock technology gives this V6 the versatility to run on regular fuel. This new direct-injected engine will easily propel the Genesis Coupe from zero to 60 mph in the lower five-second range on its way to an impressive 149 mph electronically-limited top speed. Not to be outdone by its bigger brother, the turbocharged, intercooled 2.0-liter DOHC inline four-cylinder substitutes a new twin-scroll design for its turbocharger in addition to a larger Intercooler with enhanced thermal efficiency. The twin-scroll design is more efficient at recovering Exhaust energy and produces cooler cylinder temperatures than the former single-scroll design. In addition, the twin-scroll is more precise, with improved combustion efficiency, reduced turbo lag, leaner air/fuel ratios and more evenly distributed pressure in the Exhaust ports, resulting in simultaneous power, efficiency and emissions improvements. Also, a 53 percent larger Intercooler further reduces intake temperatures, providing denser, cooler air from which to develop even more power. This turbocharged engine also benefits from Dual CVVT on both intake and Exhaust camshafts. The 2.0-liter turbo now generates 274 horsepower (a massive 30 percent increase) and 275 lb.-ft. of torque (an impressive 23 percent increase) on premium fuel. And, unlike many competitive turbo engines, this turbo's anti-knock sensors automatically adjust ignition timing and engine mapping to run perfectly on regular fuel, yielding 260 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and 260 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,000 RPM. The turbo engine also features a cast-aluminum cylinder block and cylinder head. All these improvements give the Genesis Coupe 2.0T a power-to-weight ratio of 12.3, superior to the upcoming Scion FR-S sports coupe and the Honda Civic Si. "
