2006 Grand Cherokee Quadra-Drive II HEMI SWAMPED testing snorkles after it floats
This is a fully armored WK with a 4" Superlift, all 4X Guard armor, dual interior snorkles, HEMI Superchips, Controller made just to beat the snot out of. We are testing the watertight integrity of the snorkles at the time. The water is VERY COLD, so cold eventually I could not feel the hitch/wire plug in and my friend had to help me plug it in. I would not have gotten stuck except my Jeep floated and the wheels were not fully on the mud/ground. Since this video, was filmed the carpets are gone, it has a Rhino interior and 2 500 GPH bilge pumps for 1000 GHP pumping so more than enough to pump water out as it only enteres in through the doors. This also uses the 4XGuard portable cradle. with a WARN M8000 that functioned 100% perfectly after sitting under water for 15 minutes (video is edited). All compjuters have now been sealed, relocated and the only way she will die is a fire-lol. This has been driven in the Delaware River already and I am working on a water crossing propulsion system with prop and flotation so she can cross anywhere as we have a lot of water in our area and this Jeep may end up in Thailand where I stay to wheel and drive around.

JEEP CHEROKEE XJ CLIMBS WALL
vid is a few years old. 89 xj, 34x9.5" tsl's, lockers front and rear, needed shocks.. "There does exist and has existed for a generation, an international . . . network which operates, to some extent, in the way the radical right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups and frequently does so. I know of the operations of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960s, to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its aims and have, for much of my life, been close to it and to many of its instruments. I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies . . . but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known." - Professor Carroll Quigley (Bill Clinton's mentor and historian for the Council on Foreign Relations), in his book Tragedy and Hope, 1966. "The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was the Bank for International Settlements in Basle, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations... Each central bank sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world... The growth of financial capitalism made possible a centralization of world economic control and use of this power for the direct benefit of financiers and the indirect injury of all other economic groups.'' - Carroll Quigley (Book: Tragedy and Hope 1966 pag. 325,338,950)

Jeep Quadra-Drive II in snow
Just a "demonstration" of the Jeep Quadra-Drive II system on the Lefthand Gulch trail (not the slaughterhouse gulch trail as stated in the video) near Boulder Colorado. This was a very easy trail but for those people who are interested in seeing Quadra-Drive II doing something this video kind of shows the system working on a steep icy trail.

Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ & Toyota Surf at Woodhill
Build thread: http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=32504 Taken the Jeep out at the first time. 2" BB for the 31"s. Have owned a similar Surf for years (see previous videos :) it was interesting to see the difference. As stated, there is no good or bad, they are two very different trucks! Sound quality isn't the best.

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Quadra-Drive II Rear Axle Actuator Replacement
I had the "Service 4WD System" message appear on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (5.7L Hemi with Quadra-Drive II). I checked the wiring from the Final Drive Controller (under the rear seat cushion) and verified the front axle actuator wiring and solenoid were OK (14 ohms across the solenoid wiring) but the rear axle actuator solenoid wiring was open circuit. I checked the resistance at the axle connector and it was also open circuit so the rear axle cover would have to come off. Replacing the actuator solenoid and wiring fixed the problem! Here are the Jeep Part Numbers: Parts - Front Axle 52114327AC HARNESS, Electronic Front Axle,With [DSG] 52114003AF ACTUATOR, Axle Locker, With [DSG] Parts - Rear Axle 52114328AC HARNESS, Electronic Rear Axle, [DSF] Only 52114003AF ACTUATOR, Axle Locker, [DSF] Only These should be available through any Chrysler dealer (my order took about a week to come in in November 2011).
