2005 GTO (4 speed auto) vs 2008 G8 GT (6 speed auto) both car's have the same mods except the GTO has 4" magapack mufflers and the G8 has GXP mufflers. We did a 70 to 155 run. Trail car is an 06 Trailblazer SS with a Hero 2 GoPro. I used a free video editing software so the "watermark" is there for now until I buy a real program.
2008 Pontiac G8 GT Top Speed Run (Completely Stock)
Pontiac G8 GT performing a top speed run to see what this, arguably the greatest pontiac ever built, is capable of achieving in completely stock trim. (p.s. i know its just a rebadged commodore)
Superchips cortex programmer only used to raise the stock speed limiter, no other options were changed and no tunes were installed.
Stock trim, nothing removed from the car at all, not even the spare tire. Run was done with 3/8th of a tank of gas.
Car in its stock form: 361 hp & 385 ft. lbs. tq. 3,995 lbs. curb weight

Not really a great run for the bmw, but I was told it pulls pretty good from a roll. Anyways this run I hit an 11.61 and best of the day was an 11.58. Not to shabby for a 4000lbs 4 door with only H/C/I, bolt-ons, 2800 stall, and DRs. Idk much about the bmw except he has bolt-ons and has over 400hp.

Two quick G8 GT's having some fun. First 2 rounds from a complete stop goes to 8ualive, and the 3rd run goes to me. There's about a 65 WHP difference between the cars, but this proves that numbers don't mean much - it's all about setup and situation.
Forgot to list that both cars had BoWhite ported throttle bodies, the rest of the power-adders are listed at the beginning of the video.
