Fully restored by Overhaulin' guest Steve LuVisi, this numbers matching,
Tri-Power Sting Ray walks that fine line between a major trophy winner and
the kind of overrated obsession that'll have you breaking a sweat over dust
particles. If you're looking for an excellent mix of legendary performance
and surefire reliability, you're looking at your next classic!
Assembled at GM's storied St. Louis manufacturing facility, and restored by
Automotive Expertise in Orange County, California, this awesome C3 drop-top
is bathed in correct GM code 983 British Green basecoat and sealed in a
glossy clearcoat shell. Under that chameleon-esque paint, the car's solid
fiberglass body presents a better-than-factory appearance and, by the looks
of things, has never been seriously damaged or received any major
modifications. And overall, this vintage cruiser is a clean,
well-maintained restoration that provides a combination of style and
reliability not normally found in moody trailer queens and butch barn
Introduced as a concise and impressive answer to Chrysler's storied HEMI,
this Corvette's Tri-Power 427 big block wears a correct 3916321 casting
number behind a September (I) 27th (27) of 1967 (7) casting date, a high
performance "IM" suffix stamp and a matching 402307 partial VIN. At the top
of that stalwart engine a bright chrome air cleaner funnels wind into three
Holley 2-barrel carburetors that are threaded into a correct Winter
aluminum intake. And below that intake, a Chevy Orange block hangs a slick
set of chrome valve covers over ceramic coated Hedman hedders. Both the
car's engine and engine bay are exceptionally clean for a collection of
mechanical parts that probably haven't seen a restoration shop in quite a
few years. And the brutal big block fires up instantly, idles quietly and,
on its way to making a solid 400 horsepower, transforms an
otherwise lightweight fuselage into a chariot worthy of astronauts!
Behind that awesome big block engine you'll find a beefy M21 Muncie 4-speed
that wears a familiar 3925660 casting number in front of a 1968 (8) Muncie
(P) assembled on October ( R ) 5th (05) of 1967 build stamp and a correct
402307 partial VIN. All of the car's fully sorted hardware is bolted to
clean floors which, based on appearance, haven't ever seen repairs or a
significant amount of time sitting in the weather. And at the corners of
those floors, a handsome set of GM Rally wheels spin red-lined 225/70R15 BF
Goodrich Silvertown Radials around great looking trim rings and chrome
Chevrolet center caps.
Pop this C3's tight fitting doors and you'll find a fully restored interior
that presents exceptionally well despite a steady regimen of use. With cars
of this age, seats are a common point of fatigue, but the great looking
leather buckets in this cockpit feel comfortable and show virtually no wear
at all. In front of those seats, a conservative black dash props a
warp-free pad above fully rebuilt gauges and a pristine, satin-spoked
steering wheel. And between those seats, telemetry for the car's vitals
ride above a correct Delco AM/FM stereo, roller controls for the freshened
heating system and a fully functional Corvette shifter.
If you've been looking for a fun summertime cruiser that you can enjoy
immediately without worries, this fully sorted Corvette is your kind of
car! Call, click or visit http://RKMotorsCharlotte.com for more
1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible - #45 DET
1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible for sale in our Detroit Showroom. This
beautiful Stingray for sale comes with both hard and soft tops that are in
great shape! The hard top comes with a vertical rolling stand. Neither top
has ever been on the car for fear of damaging the paint where the top sits.
That will tell you how the current owner cares for this Corvette for sale!
These chrome bumper Vettes are a great investment and continue to increase
in value, especially ones in this condition. Beautiful Monza Red paint,
Black soft top, Black interior, rally wheels, the Stingray badging, the
gills on the fender, side Exhaust, and
the chrome bumpers front and rear show you why the 1969 continues to be the
year everyone wants to own! Powered by the original numbers matching 350
CID V8 engine rated at 300 horsepower backed by the
original 4 speed manual transmission, this C3 for sale will move! 1969 was
the second year for the C3 and usually preferred over the 68 because some
of the kinks were worked out. The door handle design was improved to a
finger hold style where the push button was removed, the 350 was
introduced, the ignition was moved to the column, the Stingray badging was
added, the steering wheel was an inch smaller, map pockets were added to
the passenger side dash, and headlight washers were new. Options on this 69
Vette for sale include AM/FM radio with aux imput, manual convertible tops,
seat belts, vinyl interior, original anti-theft system, rally wheels, BF
Goodrich Radial T/A tires, side Exhaust, and AIR pump still in place. The 68,638
miles on the odometer are believed to be original to the car. 16,633
Corvette convertibles were made in 1969, of those 7,878 got a removable
hardtop, and only 4,355 Corvettes got side Exhaust in 1969! This Corvette has Original
Point of Delivery NCRS certification and a lot of new parts. New parts
include: carpet, rear transverse springs and shocks, front and rear wiring
harnesses, front suspension, steering box, Exhaust manifolds refurbished, radiator,
refurbished original AM/FM radio, working fiber optics, and more. The
numbers on the engine block, carburetor, smog pump, oil filter cap, engine
heads, intake manifold, Exhaust
manifolds, transmission, differential, and expansion tank are all
documented and believed to be correct according to the seller. Located in
our Detroit Showroom, this 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible for
sale can be seen at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, or call 313-982-3100 for
additional information. -

If you're one of the growing legion of enthusiasts who likes to live the
collector car life to its fullest, this exceptionally priced C3 is just the
cruiser you've been looking for!
Assembled at GM's storied St. Louis manufacturing facility, this garage
fresh C3 currently displays an excellent looking coat of bright red paint.
Under that retina searing finish the car's sinuous fiberglass body presents
factory correct alignment and appears to have never received any major
modifications or major repairs. And not surprisingly, its previous owner's
high level of dedication has resulted in a smooth, old school roadster
which has more personality per square inch than any sterile, white glove
trailer queen; and possesses twice as much character as most cars half its
Tilt the car's lightweight fiberglass hood and you'll find a familiar 350
cubic inch Chevrolet V8 that combines excellent power with docile street
manners. Introduced way back in 1955 Chevrolet's venerable small block,
which still muscles everything from pre-war street rods to seventh
generation Corvettes, is presently entering its fifth generation as one of
the world's most renowned powerplants. At the top of this Vette's stalwart
engine a pristine chrome air cleaner funnels wind into a big 4-barrel
carburetor that's bolted to a modern Edelbrock intake. Below that intake, a
Chevy Orange block hangs a slick set of finned aluminum valve covers over
ceramic coated block hugger headers. Behind those headers, an MSD Blaster
coil rations spark to an MSD Pro-Billet distributor which sequences fire
through fresh Accel Ferro-Spiral Race Wires. And in front of those wires,
an original radiator sends water around fresh V-belts and a new Sanden AC
compressor with the help of fresh hoses and correct tower clamps.
An essential part of keeping any classic in tip-top condition is keeping
all of its parts moving. And if you're like me, you know the best aspect of
owning a cool car is taking it out for weekend drives. Whoever was in
charge of maintaining this awesome red Corvette obviously struck a great
balance between low mileage and sunny day cruising, because one look at the
chassis and floorpans provides a detailed story of excellent maintenance.
Behind the engine you'll find a beefy Muncie 4-speed that provides stiff
shifts and solid acceleration. At the front of the car, you'll find an
original double A-arm suspension that's complete with factory power
steering. At the back of the car, you'll find an original transverse leaf
suspension that's complete with big 3.70 gears and a posi-traction
differential. And at the corners of the car, power disc brakes ensure rapid
stops and great handling. All that fully sorted hardware is bolted to clean
floors which, based on appearance, lived in a nice, dry garage and were
only taken down the road during the summer months. And the chassis even
retains a handsome set of GM Rally wheels which spin fresh 245/60/15 front
and 255/60/15 rear BF Goodrich Radial T/As around great looking trim rings
and chrome Chevrolet center caps.
Open this Corvette's solid closing doors and you'll find a glowing red
interior which presents exceptionally well despite a steady regimen of use.
With cars of this age, seats are a common point of fatigue, but the great
looking leather buckets in this cockpit feel comfortable and show virtually
no wear at all. Below those seats bright red carpet, which runs from under
the dash to the back of the cargo hold, is protected by thick, color-keyed
floor mats. In front of those seats, a red and black dash props a warp-free
pad above a correct passenger's side map pocket, large round gauges and a
pristine, satin-spoked steering wheel. Between those seats, gauges for the
car's vitals ride above a correct AM/FM stereo, slider controls for the
freshened HVAC system and a fully functional Corvette shifter that's
accented by a small marbled knob. And at the sides of those seats, great
looking door panels frame correct twist style locks and correct chrome
handles in spotless stainless trim.

worries, your Corvette is waiting! Call, click or visit
