1927 Indiana Motor Truck, 12459 miles. Please read caption for the link to sound version.
Nice!!! The audio has been muted on this clip, even after full credit was given to the Writer/Composer. Thought it would Boost interest in their sound tract, but no! I guess not! Anyway, here is the link to where you can hear the 1927 Indiana running. Without the 35 seconds of the "Indiana Jones" Theme that landed up muting the entire video.. Thanks...

1927 Indiana, model 127, This truck was put into storage in mid 1930's. It is original, unrestored, with 12459 miles. Not even broke in yet. It rides on Goodyear hard rubber tires, with the rear tire being wider than the front. We watch the Indiana earn its keep, doing what it was intended to do. It passes the camera with a load of dirt, and dumps it at the pit. We then watch an Oshkosh pass the Indiana on the dirt road. Indiana Truck Corp built trucks from 1910-1933 in Marion, IN. From 1928-1932, Indiana Trucks was controlled by Brockway. In 1932, White purchased Indiana Truck Corp for there good name and dependability.
Song is from the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" John Williams & the London Symphony. Label is PolyGram, Columbia Records 1981.
Up till Saturday, 8/13/2011 I have never seen or heard of Indiana Motor Trucks.
Video was taken at the HCEA National Pike Equipment & Steam Show, in Brownsville, PA. 8/13/2011
This is the OLDEST dump truck I ever filmed, and here is a link to the LARGEST dump truck I ever filmed,

Firey Crash Between Semi's - November 1, 2010, I-65 Lebanon, Indiana.
This is an accident between two semi's which incidentally was caused by a service vehicle (diesel mechanic). This happened just before 4:00pm EDT on I-65 S.B. at the 139 mile marker in Lebanon, Indiana. The Falcon tractor-trailer was broke down on the shoulder just south of the exit for Flying J Travel Center. The mechanic was arriving on location but for some reason stopped cold in the middle of the highway instead of pulling off onto the shoulder and the first tractor-trailer behind him was able to avoid him however the CFI driver (Conway Freight) was unable to stop in time instead shot off to the right shoulder unaware there was a broken down semi already sitting there.
The CFI tractor-trailer (hauling hazardous materials) crashed into the broken down semi and exploded. Both the driver from the Falcon truck and the CFI truck were able to evacuate their units and received minor injuries.
I saw the smoke immediately from 10-miles south of that location while heading N.B. on I-65 in Whitestown, IN. Because I had to drop my trailer at the yard, I got off of that exit, dropped my trailer then headed north again without my semi-trailer. I arrived on scene within 10-minutes of the crash and as I was approaching the scene, Indiana State Police had halted N.B. traffic so they could turn the traffic that had been coming southbound around in the median and head them back N.B. so they could catch a service road going south to get around the accident scene.
In the meantime coincidentally, I had to stop directly across from the crash scene (felt the heat of the fire too - very hot!!!) and used the camcorder function of my HTC-Hero cellphone and video recorded about 8-minutes worth of video before traffic started moving again. The fire departments were having difficulty containing the blaze so they summoned an area airport fire unit with foam to put the fire out which you can see worked really well.
Ironically though I couldn't see him, the helicopter pilot from WISH-TV channel 8 (www.wishtv.com) was doing a LIVE broadcast from the air and got a view of me sitting in my white colored International 4300 Eagle directly across from the fire scene. If I can figure out how to get the video from up above, I will put that in here too so you can see the action from the ground and in the air above the scene. But yes that is me in the white semi-tractor (no trailer) sitting on the highway directly across from the fire scene.
Because the sun was nearly in my eyes the whole time filming, I could not see what I was actually shooting but aimed the cellphone around hoping I was getting something and boy did I. It is a bit shaky as the diesel engine in my truck vibrates the truck like crazy but after having come home and viewed the video I think I did okay.
I'm not going to put any stupid audio track to this video because you'll get to hear that huge Detroit Diesel 71-series come to life when the airport truck runs up the water pump. Hear the growl, see the Exhaust smoke from the airport fire unit wow what an awesome sight and sound. Oh and sound of the high pressure water/foam mixture shooting from the nozzle was making quite a racket too. What power!!! Video recorded by: Jim Barrow II - Crawfordsville, IN.
Once we started rolling again I left the video running to show the southbound traffic on service roads going south and thereafter the backup caused by this incident all the way up to and including my exit. Enjoy the video.
