The design of the 2007 Fiat 500 is based on the 2004 Fiat Trepiùno concept. The new model features a distinctive retro style - following the pattern of the Volkswagen New Beetle and BMW MINI - as modern reinterpretation of Dante Giacosa's 1957 original rear-engined Fiat 500. Production started in mid-2007 in Fiat facilities in Tychy, Poland, and later in Toluca, Mexico. Numerous trim, equipment, and performance versions are offered with a convertible body style available starting in 2009. The Fiat 500 automobile platform is the basis of the second-generation Ford Ka.
Driving a FIAT 500 in the snow
http://www.eastsidefiat.com/2012-fiat-500-calgary.htm http://www.eastsidefiat.com This video was filmed in Calgary right after a snow storm where there was quite a bit of snow in the roads. One thing that people often ask me is whether or not a FIAT 500 will handle such adverse driving conditions like snow and ice, and my answer is YES. My name is Rico Olinger and I am the Internet Sales Manager at FIAT in Calgary, AB, Canada. I have been driving a FIAT 500 Sport as my demo for about 10 months and I simply love the car. Besides the great styling and fuel economy, the FIAT 500 handles very nice in snowy conditions. I sued to tell people this all of the time, but no one would believe me... now I have proof! I hope you enjoy the video! Eastside FIAT BLOG - http://www.thebigstoreblog.com My BLOG - http://www.ricosblog.com Eastside FIAT 3501 8th Ave NE Calgary, AB T2A5H6 (888) 360-1575 www.eastsidefiat.com
