.000 Reaction time 2006 Monte Carlo SS and Z06 Corvette Race
This was my second race of the night, I had a perfect reaction time, .000
I went up against a Z06 not sure what year but it was the 405 HP model. The
Z06 had a terrible reaction time, resulting in a very close heads up race.
He ran a 12.8, but with him leaving just over a second later than me, made
it a very close run. I ran a 14.1.
You can see the .000 in the right lane towards the finish as it was during
1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS All Street Project Car
This is my 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. I have owned this car for 13
years and it has been in the family for over 26 years. The car has just
under 29,000 original miles. The engine and drivetrain is all original as
well as the paint and interior. I didn't drive the car much, so I decided
to make a few subtle changes, mostly in the stance, so I would drive it
more. Just don't care for the stock stance on these cars. For the front I
used 2" drop Belltech spindles and 1" drop Belltech springs. For the rear I
used OPG 3" drop rear springs. 3" total drop front and rear. I used
Belltech Street Performance shocks on all four corners. The wheels are
Center Line Retros 18 x7 front, 18 x 8 rear. Nitto NT555 tires 225/45 in
the front, 255/45 in the rear. Also for a little more sound, I went with
Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers and custom tailpipes. I drive the car a lot
now just cause I enjoy it so much more. I didn't cut anything and I have
everything to put the car back original if I ever decide to in the future.
Thanks for looking!
