SOLD 1936 FORD 2 DOOR SEDAN
Very sharp looking 36. All stock. Washington blue with tan mohair interior. Frame off restoration was done some time ago. It still looks fresh. It was stored for 10 years by the last owner. I could not find any signs of rust. 221 cu.in. Flathead V-8 engine. Alternator has been installed but it comes with the stock generator. The paint is in very good condition, I did find a couple of small spots in the paint but you will have to look hard to find them. Chrome looks great. Interior is excellent. Woodgrain dash is nicely finished with a stock non-working radio. The crank out windshield works smooth. Has a working heater. The Firestone wide whitewall tires are like new. Underside is clean and painted black. We have serviced and safety checked the Ford and it runs and drives great. We have not washed or detailed it, what you see is how it came in. This is one really sharp looking car. Has Greyhound hood ornament. Dual outside mirrors. Im very impressed with the body condition. If youre like me and like Flathead Fords you will like this one. Cond. # 2.

132195 / 1937 Ford 5-Window Coupe
Your first clue that this 1937 Ford coupe is something special is expressed in one the awards this car has won: the PPG "Outstanding Use of Color" award from the 2010 Street Rod Nationals in York, PA. The burnt orange metallic over black paint scheme is both contemporary and timeless, and the quality will have people examining this car for hours, marveling at the attention to detail. Getting the proportions correct while still giving the car an aggressive rake and silhouette is no easy task, and finishing it to show car levels such as this takes true talent. The sophisticated 2-tone look was achieved by using the body's original lines as a break point, with a silver stripe dividing the black and burnt orange.
Nestled into the engine bay is a 383 Chevy with a Weiand blower making 450 horsepower. It is dressed up with a polished aluminum intake and valve covers, along with chrome accessories. Trick hood hinges allow the hood to tilt forward and hold the hood in place above the bodywork. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic feeding a Ford 9-inch rear. The front suspension is independent, while an Air Ride suspension system holds up all four corners. Brakes are discs by Baer and rolling stock consists of Billet Specialties wheels wearing 18-inch front and 20-inch rear BFGoodrich radials.
With an adjustable, custom-crafted seat covered in supple black and gray leather, there's a surprising amount of space inside. Everything is new, from the carpets to the custom headliner. Vintage Air handles the climate control, and the stereo system is powerful, with speakers scattered throughout the passenger compartment. In back, the trunk has been upholstered to match.
With big power from a reliable powertrain and a handcrafted interior, this is a car you can easily drive cross-country. This one is turn-key and ready to rumble today for a fraction of the build cost. Why wouldn't you call?

1937 Ford Coupe Bk 5 Window "SOLD" Drager's International Classic Sales 206-533-9600
his is a beautiful Ford coupe. I sold this coupe in 1998. Since then the engine has had a complete engine rebuild. The transmission, rear end in driveline have been rebuilt. The paint has been touched up. This ford was entered in 2 shows and won 1st and second-place trophies. I installed a brand-new mohair interior before I sold it in 1998. Interior still looks great. When the engine was out the inner fender wells in firewall were repainted so the engine compartment looks good. The radio works. The chrome looks good. It does have some rock chips in the paint. Everything works good except the trunk lock. This is a driver quality car that shows very well proven by the trophies it won. It's just in and will have more information in a lot more photos and video for you shortly. You may have noted the vin # and does look Ford that is because this is a Canadian built Ford. Cond. # 2-.

The Rolling Bones Hot Rod Shop - The Poteet 1934 Coupe
(note: this is an art film inspired by The Rolling Bones Hot Rod Shop. It is a non-commercial piece.)
Defining the term "Hot Rod" is about as elusive as trying to find a deuce roadster that's been stored in some old farmer's barn since April 1st, 1932. It can and does mean many things to many people.
For The Rollng Bones Hot Rod Shop, it's about using many of the same parts and building hot rods the way they were when they were simply Hot Rods. While those men had no interest in the history they were creating, The Rolling Bones do. They were simply trying to go fast with what was available.
The Rolling Bones are simply trying to capture the look, the feel, and the soul of a late forties - early fifties Hot Rod with a story to tell.
There are lots of people in this world who claim to be artists but there are only a certain few who can put that very elusive magic in their work.
Great Hot Rods are also works of art and The Rolling Bones will argue that point with you until the beer runs out. Like a romantic painting, when you look at it, a great Hot Rod will tell you just enough of its story to grab your emotions and let your imagination take you as fast and far as you want to go.
That's what they build, stories, in The Rolling Bones Hot Rod Shop style, one story at a time.

1936 Ford V-8 Dealership Filmstrip
Silent Filmstrip, "Judge For Yourself"
Deluxe Ford V-8 for 1936 is from a set of filmstrips purchased at auction by George Borg, President of the Woodside Terrace A.M. Kiwanis and Executive Director of El Centro de Libertad, an outpatient recovery program. The films have been sealed away in their original canisters in a safe for 30 years.
"Judge For Yourself" is a limited release production used for training in Ford dealerships. Also purchased at auction were the original combination record player / filmstrip projector and accompanying records providing audio track.
This initial restoration was performed by Michael Akana.... Images were transferred to digital media to restore the image quality and to avoid damaging the original media. For this presentation only the video portion of the filmstrip was restored.
Check out the 1934 Ford V8 filmstrip also here at YouTube. More info at www.wheelngears.com
