RE Amemiya factory - rotary heaven!

Completely focused on tuning rotary engine cars such as Mazda RX-7 and RX-8, RE Amemiya is known as the best Rotary tuner in Japan. Not only they are good at tuning RX-7 street cars seen on Touge Monster championship in HotVersion movies, they have attained glorious achivements in SuperGT as a racing team, and in D1 GranPrix. There is no other tuner in Japan doing SuperGT, D1, and street car tuning at the same time. The store is located in the suburb of Tokyo, only half an hour away from the Tokyo International Airport. At the store, they sell RX-7 and RX-8 in stock condition, tuned cars of "Greddy" brand, and individual parts. Their parking lot filled up with rotary engine cars is nothing but a "rotary heaven"! SPOON SPORTS showroom
Famous Honda tuner, SPOON SPORTS runs a tuning shop "TYPE ONE" that is just few minutes walk away from their HQ building. TYPE ONE sells SPOON products, while also providing tuning services for Honda owners. You can buy things there, and also get it on your own car on the same day, at the same place, by people who actually developed those products. TYPE ONE building has 2 floors - 1st floor for quick maintenance/tuning services, and 2nd floor for heavy services like engine mods or even building real race cars. Not all SPOON demo cars are kept there (they have other storage houses for that), but they always have some cars there for periodical checks, or getting ready for races, or for media appearances. You can say that TYPE ONE is a showroom for SPOON products, and at the same time, a true racing factory operated by Honda tuning specialists. I love SPOON SPORTS because they specialize in Honda vehicles, and their products are developed and thoroughly tested on racing fields and streets before they become available to users. And they've done that ever since the foundation of the company in late 80's. SPOON is famous for race activities, but their sole intention is to develop functional products with reliability. Until they're satisfied, they'll never sell to others. Visiting TYPE ONE is not as hard as you think... just takes some time. Half an hour on train from Tokyo Station, and 20 minutes walk from Ogikubo Station along a crowded street. The store is open everyday between 10am and 7pm, and there is a Canadian staff you can talk to in English! Credit cards are accepted. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Official website: SPOON SPORTS (English): http://www.spoon.jp/eng/ TYPE ONE (Japanese): http://www.typeone.jp - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - full length video of SPOON's Civic TypeR Euro (FN2) is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yTRFeRM0HE - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - full length video of SPOON's stock S2000 (AP2) is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exHx31GdK7U - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

RE Amemiya 20B FD RX-7. Fuji Speedway test for Yokohama World Time Attack 2012
Hear the sweet sound of the 20B RE Amemiya rotary at idle, at full noise down the straight and in-car. Awesome. This was one of RE Amemiya's last test sessions before their rebuilt RX-7 was put on a boat to Australia to compete in the ADVAN Pro Class at Yokohama World Time Attack. Hear what NOB Taniguchi thinks of the car's handling. See this car compete against Australian, New Zealand, American, British and Japanese rivals on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th August 2012 at Sydney Motorsport Park.
