VW Buggy
Featured in the July 2010 issue of eurotuner magazine, this air-cooled VW Buggy is the personal project of Derek Jenkins. He was formerly the Chief US Designer for VW but has since moved to Mazda. His buggy is an awesome mix of traditional air-cooled style with modern materials and aesthetics. the buggy that i built. its still not done, and a video with sound will come later. EVERYTHING WAS BUILT WITHOUT PLANS OR SUCH.I WONT SELL PLANS! it was my design and wasnt copied or built by plans like the piranha buggy.
Manx II project build part 2
Chassis is complete for the Myers Manx II project. Every nut and bolt was removed, cleaned ,threads chased as new or replaced. I'm very happy with how things are turning out. Now on to the body; first we'll remove two layers of paint to get down to the original gelcoat then apply the new finish. I think this is gonna give Deedie's buggy a run for the money. Hopefully we'll have both cars at the big VW show on the circle in Sebring in August.

This is a video I made from photos taken at the debut of the Kickout SS during the Carlisle Import Kit Car Nationals May 16th 2009. What a nice show set up they have at Carlisle. complete restauration 1963 Volkswagen buggy Ruska B1
Slideshow / film over het restaureren van mijn 1963 Volkswagen "buggy". Na aanschaf 20 jaar geleden lid geworden van de Algemene Buggyclub. Na nieuw spuitwerk en een race 1641cc met engle W-110 nokkenas , Weber IDF-40 carburateurs en een dikke brulpijp is het tijd om aan iedereen te laten zien hoe dit alles in zijn werk is gegaan.
