FIRESKY - das Fliegende Auto von Michael Kainberger
Ich beschäftige mich bereits seit Jahren mit der Entwicklung und dem Bau von außergewöhnlichen ferngesteuerten RC-Flugobjekten. Mein Jahresprojekt 2012 ist das "Fliegende Auto". Nachdem ich für den Nachbau bekannter Automarken wie z.B. den VW-Beetle keine Lizenz der entsprechenden Agentur erhalten habe, musste ich die fertigen Pläne mehrere Male verwerfen. Schließlich habe ich das vorliegende Modell gänzlich ohne Vorlage eines real existierenden Fahrzeuges selber entwickelt und CAD-Zeichnungen angefertigt. Die Idee ist jedoch immer noch die selbe... Ein Auto, das perfekt fahren UND fliegen kann. Es trägt den Namen FIRESKY und macht sowohl am Boden als auch in der Luft eine tolle Figur! Der FIRESKY-Bolide besteht im Wesentlichen aus 6mm Depronplatten und Birkensperrholz. Angetrieben wird er von einem 70 Gramm leichten Brushlessmotor, welcher von einem 1300-er 3S-Lipo Akku gespeist wird. Der FIRESKY ist voll bodenstartfähig und nimmt es locker mit jedem anderen ferngesteuerten Rennflitzer am Boden auf. Aber eigentlich gehört ihm der Himmel! Nach kurzer Beschleunigungsphase hebt der FIRESKY ab und zieht die staundenden Blicke des Publikums magisch an sich! Dabei ist der FIRESKY so einfach zu fliegen, wie ein normaler Elektrotrainer! Mit etwas Fingerspitzengefühl gelingen rasante Rollen, positive und negative Loopings, Rückenflug, Trudeln, Steilspiralen und noch vieles mehr. Mit ein wenig Gegenwind ist selbst "Hoovern" kein Problem. Der Geschwindigkeitsbereich ist enorm. Von Schrittempo bis zum Renntempo ist am Boden und in der Luft alles möglich ... Kaum zu glauben, aber man meint fast, der FIRESKY hebt sämtliche Gesetze der Aerodynamik auf. ... Das Gegenteil ist jedoch der Fall. Durch die ausgeklügelte Bauweise, den exakt aufeinander abgestimmten Anstellwinkeln der Bodenplatte und des Daches, sowie der richtigen Schwerpunktswahl und des Motorsturzes erreicht der nur 600 Gramm schwere FIRESKY excellente Flugeigenschaften und ist auch im Verbrauch sehr ergonomisch. 5-7 Minuten Flugzeit sind locker drinnen. Bereits mit Viertelgas bleibt er am Himmel! Auch die Langsamflugeigenschaften sind einfach fantastisch! Er landet auf Wunsch im Schritttempo und ist durch seine integrierte Servolenkung auch am Boden extrem wendig. Regular Car Reviews: 1991 BMW E30 318i
The BMW E30 is the prerequisite to "being a car guy" even more than the Mazda Miata MX5. The M42 engine was not put into E30 sedans until 1991, although it did exist in E30 318is coupes. It was in every E36, so in a lot of ways my E30 is sort of unique. This car is one of the few E30s to not have a sunroof. The point is most people weren't as cheap as the original owner who bought this car in 1991. In fact, This E30 only has one optional extra: a digital clock/temp gauge. That might have been standard in 1991. I'm not sure but it wasn't at the start of the E30. It is the cheapest E30 you could buy in 1991. The fact that it doesn't have a sunroof is sort of a subculture thing; I've heard them referred to as "slick tops". This E30 is untouched in terms of performance; as slow as BMW wanted it to be. Lots of E30s are slammed or track-day focused, but mine is stock as a rock. Still great to drive. Ask any E30 owner, maintenance is expensive and sucks. In a lot of ways, owning an E30 is like dating a super-expensive high-maintenance MILF who cheats on you and sometimes abuses you, but whom you live anyway.

We've been doing it since Henry James Ex-Patted his way from coffee house to coffee house trying to capture the perfect Portrait of a Lady. The C7 goes off faster than I do when I refrain from TOUCHING MYSELF for a week. You can't see out the back because the ass of the car is higher than your head. Plus, this car is so hyped in every blog...so we'll see.
