Paradebeispiel für's Mähen. Bis zu 20 ha/h mit dem Big M 500 Flächenleistungen von bis zu 20 Hektar pro Stunde -- dafür steht der Hochleistungs-Mähaufbereiter Big M 500 von Krone. Der Big M 500 besticht durch eine Arbeitsbreite von 13,20 m; das vordere Mähwerk verfügt über 5,30 m Arbeitsbreite, die beiden seitlichen über je 4,40 m. Damit sind Flächenleistungen von bis zu 20 ha/h durchaus realisierbar, wie Praxiserfahrungen belegen. Angetrieben werden die Mähwerke über Gelenkwellen und Getriebe. Das Frontmähwerk ist zweigeteilt; so wird beim Transport eine Maschinenbreite von max. 3,2 m eingehalten (Bereifung 900/60 R32). Für den Transport werden die beiden Einheiten des Frontmähwerks seitlich hoch geschwenkt. Der Big M 500 ist mit einem 520 PS-starken Motor ausgerüstet, der längs in die Maschine eingebaut wird. Lyall's monowheel is unusual because it does not use the rider's weight to provide the reaction to the engine's thrust on the wheel. Instead the rider is outside, and the reaction is given by a lead-weighted Honda 80cc 4-stroke scooter engine suspended from a central shaft, driving through a sprocket attached to the wheel spokes. A separate 450-pound counterweight keeps the rider hovering above the ground at the front. Steering is done partly by precessing a 65-pound gyroscope to give yaw, and partly by the rider shifting his weight. The current land speed record for a mono wheel currently stands at 56 Mph! Ethan Tanner is a Determined Man behind the wheel of Ol' Orange. He fought a stomach bug for 2 days and still made it to the Gorilla Run and gave it his all. He was on his way to climbing the Bounty Hill when his motor started acting up and wouldn't run. He lost his breaks on the way down and the rest is history. Ol' Orange has to be one of the Toughest Buggies ever built. Ethan ended up selling is just like it sat for a disclosed amount of Cash. I can't wait to see what he shows up in Next!!! I wanted to try a new style for my winter rims, and instead of pinting them i wrapped them in vinyl, Costs about $10 a rim. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/321097538225 This short video shows you how to wrap a rim quickly(sped up 3x), There really is no downfall to doing this, faster and cheaper then painting, the vinyl only weighs .4 ounces or about 50 grams. and thats spread out throughout the rim and if you dont like it then just peal it off.
