Here is a little something I made because you can't go see this all the time unless you own one. Some shots were inspired by the brochure and I had a LOT of fun doing this. I present an '87 Shelby Lancer, a super rare vehicle and a blast to drive.. Enjoy!!

These weren't just Shelby stickered up Chryslers, the GLHS series of cars were taken to Shelbys Whittier CA skunkworks facility where the performance was bumped up all around and limited editions were made..

On October 3,2010 with a 30km headwind at Gimli Dragway, Rob McLellan ran a 10.89 at 135 miles per hour in his Dodge Shelby Charger.
Update Oct. 2011: This Shelby Charger has now gone 10.28 @ 138.94mph (1.56 60 foot) (Fastest 8-valve 5 speed 4 cyl turbo Dodge on the planet)

Omni GLH VS Shelby Charger "arch nemesis" turbogod VS Kevin C. Talking trash for years and finally get to the track! I tried solid core Spark plug wires bad no-no.. It stalls off the line and backfires all the way down the track.. Next time Kevin!!
