On “My Car Story” we're in Rosemont IL at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals on 11-20-14. We’re looking at a 1973 Pontiac GTO with a 455 engine. The car's Owner is Tim Smith. Tim’s had the car since 2007. You don’t’ see many of these. The cars rarity makes it pretty cool! ENJOY!

1971 Pontiac GTO 455 HO 4 SPEED MUSCLE CAR FOR SALE @ Erics Muscle Cars
Erics Muscle Cars is proud to offer this Rare 71 non Ram Air 455 HO 4-speed GTO treated to a frame-off rotisserie restoration with special attention to detail and period correctness. While every part is not oem or NOS, the best possible used/reproduction or refurbished parts were sourced and used where needed. Originally built with a hood tach, a painted uninstalled new one is included should the new owner choose to install. Car was restored to mirror the build sheet as best as possible except for the door edge guards. Drivetrain: Engine rebuilt using .030 forged pistons and all name brand engine parts. It is a date/numbers correct "WC" block with the 197 heads, 7041267 q-jet, 483674 intake with correct crossover and shields, 1112073 distributor and original round port Exhaust manifolds. Exhaust is stainless with tuned flow-thru designed mufflers that emit a nice rumble without waking the dead. Correct hangers and stainless Exhaust tips were used to complete the system. An original 1971 dated/stamped M-22 trans with the original restored Hurst shifter and linkage is in place as well as the correct 11" diaphragm clutch. Correct manual trans radiator was used. Original restored dated correct "JT" rally 2 wheels with new BFG radials. New power disc/drum brake parts throughout. Original 3.55 12 bolt saf-t-track rear with sway bar and boxed arms are present. Interior: Entire black interior is all new including a restored dashpad. Car was originally built without a console. Original working am radio, gauges and restored clock with quartz movement are installed. BODY: Car was used for drag racing and was modified and driven hard, ie wheelwells trimmed for slicks, rollbar, etc. As a result, new full quarterpanels, outer wheelwells, trunk lid, trunk floor and extensions were replaced to correct these modifications. Doors and most front end sheetmetal and trim are oem. Glass is tinted soft ray oem. New rear bumper, front and rear valance panels, wheel well moldings, rocker moldings, grills with rechromed bezels. Lenses are new or perfect oem. Repainted original #13 Nordic Silver upper/lower.
