UPDATE: Car has now run a best of 9.82 at 135 mph in the quarter mile on 255 radials. 60' time of 1.32 on same 255 radials. Yes, it's still a street legal car that gets driven on the street. Gonna try some slicks on it now. All brightwork is now powdercoated in a special order color called "Bronze Burst". See my other videos for action shots of the car running 9 second 1/4 mile passes.
Here is my 78 Buick Regal fresh out of the paint booth. Still has a few pieces yet to be put back on, but it is looking good!!! The color is House Of Kolors Candy Tangerine over silver base coat. The car is street legal and runs mid 10s at 127 MPH in the quarter mile on drag radials with a naturally aspirated Chevy small block motor. Should be going quicker soon. 9-Second Buick Regal Drag Racing and the Corvette on 10.5w wipes out!!
HOK Kandy Regal drag racing! Street legal, 9 seconds on motor! The Corvette gets loose and ends up in my lane after sliding sideways. My first Hot Street victory! Mid 9s on 255/60-15 radials....1.32 60' time!!! Track not very good that day for any of the fast cars, and 90 degree weather to boot!

All coats of Candy Apple Red have been applied. Here we are applying high solid clear, 3 coats, which will really make the color pop and show off the Solar Gold metallic base. See parts 1-4 of this videos series for narrated stages leading up to this.

Sv 1000s paint job HOK Tangerine Kandy basecoat
First time paint job, painting my bike after motivation and advise from my friend Pete your friend Pete at SWRNC! tackled HOK tangerine kandy base for my first paint job and surprisingly it layed down very well and even. overlapped about 70% when spraying, used medium reducer.put down about 5 coats. I'll make another vid of it cleared, and another walk around vid when i get it together. Thank you Pete! Also sorry for the poor camera shooting. also idk if it was the way the paint looked or what, but the camera had constant problems focusing.
